The Pakistani guy is a true friend of TPLF, unless you want to disown him today. By the way, you yourself had told us on this forum that Debretsion group is plotting to kill Getachew Reda. Why are you belittling the same info you shared when it became true? He said he tried to call without any success. He knows the guy. Give him credit for caring.

The Pakistani you tuber doesn't provide new information; in other words, he does not break the news. His value is in ascertaining what has been given out as news or new information. He also provides anther useful service. For example, Pro-Fano media doesn't report on Fan loses. Tigreans and Eritreans don't report on their loses/negatives; he does. The Oromuma regime never reports, admits or accepts facts on its massive loses; this tuber does when he gets the facts . That is how I evaluate his service.
When it comes to understanding exactly what is meant by information, most of us don't have a precise idea about it.
what is information? what is the information content of an event? Any data contained in an object, an event, a process or a situation doesn't constitute an information. In the strict sense, the information content of a reality is the amount of surprise contained in that reality (ie object, event, process or situation).
Therefore, when the pakistani tuber reports a known event with certainty, he is not providing information; he is confirming an old story or news. The only value containing news is that which is new, that which contains surprises, something we haven't known before .
If you use this scientific definition and measurement of information, you can very easily identify those media that are value carrying and those that are devoid of any informative values .
