yeah eritrea doesn’t support neftegna fano
so what’s this then? the action of their cadres tells a different story

isn’t this a proof how shabia is meddling in our affairs? but why they can’t leave us alone?
abiy is their friend until he made peace in tigray. why they angry when ethiopians make peace?

If it is true, then, perhaps PIA didn't like how abiy handled the agreement with tplf or other affairs. Or, perhaps, keeping Ethiopia weakened perpetually by arming/supporting one side, against the others is good for eritrea, as someone who claims to be the only ''pure eritrean'', tarik, said.
maybe that's why some of them are openly backing amara's, while some are calling us ''gallas'' and so on; despite the fact that opdo wouldn't have existed without shabia and tplf?? who knows?? just thinking here, I could be wrong?

Senior member Sadacha,
We Eritreans tried to educate you that HGDEF and Isayas are not forces for peace but you insisted on worshiping them for long. It appears you finally found out the truth we been trying to tell you all this time. Better late than never!
Or1,
Please differentiate between Eritrea, us the people, and our tormentor HGDEF
Also avoid using divisive language
I kindly ask you to update the title

I would call dishonesty of its worst kinds to even imagine that Pia would have had ideas to weaken Ethiopia. Don't try to minimize its importance. Both Eritreans and Amaharers were disgneuely betryed by your Prime minister. He turned a done deal job upside down several times. If that is not enough he even declared war against Eritrea. For Eritrea refusing to support Abi government against Fano rebels. Who defended their people and what they thought was their government against TPLF.Sadacha Macca wrote: ↑11 Nov 2023, 21:06If it is true, then, perhaps PIA didn't like how abiy handled the agreement with tplf or other affairs. I hope you're right, but let's be honest, it's all about interests, not ''genuine friendships''; hence the reason why shabia helped tplf in the 1990s, helping them fight the OLF (when they were mostly encamped, demobilized, etc), helping them create the puppet parties such as opdo to the detriment for oromo's and other ethiopians, and etc. obviously shabia wanted to benefit from the tplf ruling over ethiopia, a country the tplf hates/hated, beyond just facilitating the referendum & independence process (up to 1997, they were allies).eritrea wrote: ↑11 Nov 2023, 21:30I would call dishonesty of its worst kinds to even imagine that Pia would have had ideas to weaken Ethiopia. The issue with Eritrea and the red sea is abiy being cornered, scared, angry and trying to distract us all; he knows better than to wage a war that no one in Ethiopia would support, even the war-weary tigrayans who may want to avenge themselves against their neighbors, would not support it.
Also, let's be fair here, fano and shabia fought the tplf, for their own interests, (fano-to take welkait and defend their lands/people) and shabia for security reasons (not wanting their arch-enemy, the tplf, to get back to power) and perhaps some good ole' revenge too (which is fair enough).
They weren't ''defending abiy'', it's just that their interests happened to converge.

Interests are best served with well known goal setting for all involved.

It is disheartening to see how agames like Eden consistently belittle the intelligence of the Oromo people. It is as if they still view Oromos as a mere tool to be used for their own dirty political end game. smh.
