It was a terrible war that was imposed on Eritrean and Ethiopian fighters. It is even worse , how brain washed were the fighters who fought it. Both sides played propaganda that claimed the innocent souls of many fighters. I can only speak only on the fighters from the Eritrean side. There were Badme wars. First, ELF fought the weyanes before independence. ELF fighters were cornered by the Derg army, TPLF and EPLF as well. Which precipitated the disagreements of ELF leaders, there by annihilating ELF from Eritrean Terrains for good. The second Badme war was all about misleading the people to keep political leadership under control. Each leadership blamed the other for starting the war. Finally, Eritrea was blamed for starting the war by the Hague Border ruling commission. But, don’t tell that to the Eritrean youth who survived the war. Most Eritrean cadres fall in that category. That is understandable for they were the victims. BTW, Good old Feddy Amiche fought in that war by his own admission. Many like Feddy, who survived the war can not accept that. They were victims. Now, Eritrea has the same government that is not accountable to the Eritrea people. The some 80,000 youth who perished to keep Ethiopia from disintegrating, who is going to speak for them, when Abbiy decided to invade Eritrea with the help of formidable aerial bombardments a la United Emirates ?

My two cents here. If the con-artist tells you that he is going left, he means that he is going right. If he says that he is drinking vodka, he meant that he is drining some beer. If the con-artist tells you that he is going after eritrea, he meant that he is going after somalia or fano. in short, never ever trust the con-artist. He is worse than his agame masters who thought him such level of deception.

The con-artist will never wag war with Eritrea. The red sea talk on the regim's media is a hot air. It is diversion and aim to target fano or internal dessent.

I would never trust the con artist…I know his likes But, remember, he has Emirates, you know. You don’t have to say it how Eritrea is nursed by a wolf ? I understand for you to have your own national interest first. But, think about that idiot who is ruling the Emirates. Weyanes worst mistake was instilling the Ethnic based federal government in Ethiopia. The weyanes saw Amhara domination as a danger to their own future. 99% of the Amhara population is made up of peasants who barely benefit from the government policies in the first place. The question is, how do you resolve that before it is too late ? I wish I had the answer.
What is interesting about this is that, the amharas and Tigrayans are far more similar than the Eritrean, Tigrigna speakers and Tigrayans themselves. I am talking about values and norms, here.
