I don't think there is a crowd wisdom in Ethiopia

Post by DefendTheTruth » 07 Nov 2023, 15:31

It is generally assumed that the wisdom of the crowd is superior to that of the individuals and fewer number of collections. It has been a common happenstance in Ethiopia that the crowd is just a collection of dumbfounded, neither in a position to contemplate the possible consequences of its own actions/inactions and decisions.

At the same time the same crowd turns back and take a comfort to blame anything and everything around itself on the government. If you ask back the disillusioned mass who is the government, it has no answer other than mentioning few names in the government power structure. There is no answer if you may ask a logical consequential question about how few in the government (power structure) should be responsible for the widespread and all common daily problems on the ground. The disillusioned mass has no grasp of how to take its own fate into its own hand, and that itself is its own failure.

If you can't keep your own neighborhoods and villages in order, then how is the "government" is supposed to keep and clear all the ills from all over the country? Why don't you help in identifying the culprits amidst yourself, the source of your misery? There is no answer, it was itself singing to the full tone of the culprits amidst itself for the sake of provisional and selfish benefits.

Now it will keep reaping the fruits of its own inaction or action, what has happened in Tigray will going to happen to many places. You have to face it, it is your own failure, a collective stupidity.

DDT,

Why are you blaming the entire mass? Is not Abiy Ahmed the 7th king who claims taking order from God in revelation and base his action on that?
He released the most wanted criminal Sebhat Nega, because he took the instruction from God.
He has many Prosperity Gospel Prophets that get him his to-do or not to do lists. Wondering if this is the way business done in Beshasha for he turned the entire country into Beshasha.

Not only Sebhat Nega but also Iskinder Nega. The former has never been heard of since his release (amnesty) to have caused a problem but the later didn't wast his time to stir further conflict and cause the mayhem of Amhara youth. Did you also accuse the guy for that?

The type of blame I am talking in my comment is such a lame accusation against the government while you are the main cause of the problems.

Not only you the source of the problem but the mass I am accusing in my comment also doesn't critically analyse and see where the cause of its own misery lies before buying into such accusations like that of yourself. The collective failure.

It is not only the Amhara mothers, the Tigray mothers, the Oromo mothers, who are going to pay the price for the collective failure of the Ethiopian crowd but each and everyone of us, including myself.

We will going to turn on each other, I am afraid.

Yes crowd wisdom is dying in endless wars and letting your dead body rot in a dark forest in welega, Gojam, Tigray, (now you want to add Eritrea) and without any compensation for your family

Noble Wollega,

You thought the misery will be for the others only, you will also going to have your share in it, be assured!

The good news is that you are not alone, even on the level of this forum itself, you have many buddies with you on board.

Assignments to the tasks and position takings have started and are already in progress, and the dumbfounded crowd in Ethiopia will never take a note. A collective failure in display.

One of the most important reasons why the people of Ethiopia is sinking into an abyss of collective ignorance could be the difference in the rate of information and disinformation spread in the society.

Disinformation has been lately spreading at a much higher rate in the society, while the mass has became much resistant in absorbing information and gaining knowledge. Here one can just mention the current state of education quality in the country, a total abyss. This will not remain without grave consequences. The society is mainly a bulk of a mass of semi-illiterate youth, under the age of 30. The most part is not spending its time in reading books and gaining knowledge and obtain a structured information, instead spends its useful time in the internet, without any clear goal from the "adventure". Internet could feed a useful information to people, but it can also be a source of all sorts of risky and dangerous disinformation.

That amount of misinformed youth can spread its ignorance in the society at a much higher pace. Little knowledge is dangerous, they said.

Ethiopian should start to contemplate in earnest where the end could be in their journey into the world of ignorance and self-destruction.

This is a very dangerous time, where disinformation outpaces information.

When it is simply your filthy mouth that you can come up with in a public forum, then it is also an indication of the level of your desperation. There is no end in sight for that, be prepared to get tormented for the years to come. You wanted it, you have it.
