The irresponsible and incompetent mad dog Abiy is now directly threatening our neighbors and destroying the good relationships we have with them. What a disaster!
He said „
Ethiopians must start openly discussing the red sea issue“. He also said „
this is an existential issue for Ethiopia“. It seems we are back to the derg era „ኢትዮጵያ አንገቷ ተቆርጦ መኖር አትችልም“ talk. Aye Abiy!

Eritrea is the source of all troubles in Ethiopia.

So you think I should care about Eritrean Afars while Ethiopians are being massacred and bombed by the mad dog? Are Eritrean Afars being bombed? Wtf are you talking about? The mad dog Abiy and his regime are like wild animals. They have no plan or strategy other than starting wars left and right and destroying everything. No Ethiopian should follow these incompetent bunches for anything, let alone for destroying our relationships with our neighbours.
At least we had no war with our neighbours for more than 2 decades and now the mad dog is beating the war drum as if we have not enough of it already. We all know where the Red Sea talk leads, straight into yet another conflict and destruction. No Ethiopian should support this madness. The last 32 years have shown us we don't need Red Sea to prosper if we fix our internal politics and focus on the economy, which the current regime is unable to do.

I agree with Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed that Ethiopia has no other choice than making peace with all its neighboring countries bordering the Red Sea basin. If, for example, the Neo-colonial powers that control Djibouti deny Ethiopia access to the sea, it will spell disaster for the country of 120 million people that was deliberately made to be solely dependent on Djibouti's port services. The more choices the more better.
Naturally landlocked Ethiopia's fate and destiny are therefore inextricably linked to living in peace with all its Coastal neighbors, especially with those that grant it transit access to the Sea in accordance to the 1982 UN Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS) that established the treaty of governing the use of world's oceans and seas by landlocked countries in times of peace. The key word here is peace.

Abiy has only one leg to stand on, yet he is declaring war on Eritrea, a country that resuscitated him from certain death. He did the same to the Amhara and Afar regions, using them to fend off the onslaught of the Weyane and then turning around to backstab them. A person who is presiding over the ethnic cleansing of Amharas and is mired in an ethnic cleansing quagmire in the Amhara region now wants to attack the very country that stood by Ethiopia when the future of the nation was at stake. This demonstrates how morally bankrupt and delusional of a sellout he is. It's unlikely that he came up with this idea on his own; he is likely being manipulated by outside forces to be used as a mercenary.
