Abiy's fear and hatread of Amharas made him to blunder

One doesn't choose his enemy, but if one has to choose, one has to choose the one who hates viscerally but is incompetent to match. Abiy's hatred of Amharas, though it took some time to unravel, is fundamental. But his incompetence is a gift that keeps on giving, especially to Amharas. His calculus from the outset was that Amharas are gullible, unlike Tigrians, so until he corners Tigrians, he played the Ethiopian card masterfully. Since he was able to manipulate BDEN, he became so contemptuous of Amharas. He thought that despite the open ethnic cleansing that is going on in Oromia, if BADEN stands with him, there is nothing he cannot do. Despite Amharas being treated in Oromia as third-class citizens in their own country and despite an open anti-Amhara propaganda by Shimels, BADEN nacklehads were defending Abiy's Oromuma propaganda openly, awarding "kaba" to those ordering the slaughter of thousands, justifying thousands of Amharas being uprooted, all supported by an open government policy. This has emboldened Abiy to believe that he can do anything and get away with whatever actions he wants. As soon as the threat of Weyanes was removed, the only remaining threat in Abiy's eyes was Amhara nationalism, which grew out of a quest to guarantee its own survival. However, his haphazard actions taken to stifle Amhara nationalism only served to solidify it, especially after the so-called Pretoria Agreement. He became openly anti-Amhara and anti-Ethiopia in both deeds and words. Though he thinks of himself as the smartest politician there is, there were actions he took that have planted the seeds of his own downfall.
In the end, Abiy's animosity towards the Amharas and his misguided strategies have not only failed to quell Amhara nationalism but have also sown the seeds of his own undoing. His overconfidence and disdain for the very people he should lead have united Amharas to undo his Amara-phobic government. While he may have considered himself a shrewd politician, history may ultimately remember him for his inability to unite a nation instead of tearing it apart with hatred and division—a cautionary tale highlighting the consequences of choosing the wrong enemy. As if Jawar's OFECO didn't advise Abiy to disarm the Amharas to the bone, now OFECO hilariously starts wailing that Abiy is arming Fano's to eradicate OLF. One thing is for sure: Amhara and the rifle have rejoined after more than half a century of separation. I forgot but
chairman Mao may have said something in this regard. Power comes from ?
