The simple reason is the Amharas are not white man's slaves and errand boys. the west acted fast to save TPLF by providing
aid while imposing sanction on the rest of Ethiopians.

The other point the DR failed to mention is 'the amharas' refusal to let the white man put his nose in their affair'.

Even Horus is too big to be assigned as a negotiator for the Leba Amhara
Easy answer, Tigray war was international, Tigray against international countries, China, Turkey, Russia, India, Israel, all Arab countries, Somalia and Bologna maids and the international communities stopped it. The Amhara war is for looting and killing innocent people without any cause to do so and Amhara bandits have been looting from their own people and parents and no need any person to intervene as a cause to bring them for a talk. Bandits should be negotiated right where they loot by the victim people to stop looting and killing innocent people.

Good point Halafi. The fact that Tigray war was an international war is another reason why it required international effort to resolve it.
