Re: Breaking News: The U.S. has issued a stern warning to Ethiopia not to invade Eritrea.
This is the problem with all the freaking African countries. Why do they worship the USA. Who made the USA the police of the world. Why the fu’ck do they need the blessing or warning of the USA to do what they want?
If Ethiopia or any other nation believes Eritrea owes them something and want to solve it by force they don’t need to get a green light or blessing or objection from their masters.
Just dare Eritrea, as if you didn’t numerous times and got your as’ses handed to you in silver platers.
By the way, I never heard any empty threat against Eritrea from be it Ethiopian govt officials or any other country. Where the hell is this…..the spineless Abiy’s speech or threat?
As the Amhara say:
@yeqwatun lawrid bila yebibutwan talech”
Ethiopia’s leaders must be stupid to make enemy in Eritrea.
First if it got dared, it will as usual destroy its enemies and yet again put another leader in Ethiopia. And secondly it will bye, bye to use Eritrea’s ports in favorable costs.
Eritrea doesn’t give a crap if any neighboring nation is friendly or not. There is nothing which it will gain from doing so. It is the other way around.
Any way, if Ethiopia adheres to its master warning and doesn’t dare Eritrea…..if that is its plan, then it is a coward nation.
Free your fu’cken selves from being puppets of the west. Do what is right to your country respecting your neighbors.
Don’t freaking push us too much.
We have the strength to change your leadership, or take your dam by force if it was a legal thing to do.
Stop being like Adghi Nihamedu who throws stones and sticks. You are a country for god sake.
And what part of INVADE is illigal are you not understanding?
We know it is illegal and that is why we never say it or INVADE any one.
I mean it is stupid to tell some one to not rape. Because it is logically wrong. So is INVADE.
LOL.
Any way if what the evil USA is warning Abiy is to be true, unlike Abiy the USA also know what we the Eritreans know about our capability….. the USA satellites might have seen………
So, I say dare us. Woyane’s destruction will be a minor league disaster to what we are capable of doing if we are dared again.

Zmeselo,
Why attack the messenger ? Messay Mekonenen aka ESAT is the one who broke the news not the weyanes or the Eritrean opposition is responsible for this. It really begs the question what your mission is on this website.

Oldie Cigar,
There is a UN that is supposed to protect the sovereignty of a given nation. The USA presides over the Western nations while China and Russia preside over the East. If Ethiopia invades Eritrean territory and occupies it illegally, perhaps the West is on the side of the Eritrean people. Not the Eritrean government off course. They may not give a green light to Abbiy to take this opportunity and secure a port for Ethiopia at the expense of Eritrea. You are an idiot. I don’t even believe that you are Eritrean. So, sit on it.

Re: Breaking News: The U.S. has issued a stern warning to Ethiopia not to invade Eritrea.
If you guys don't understand this or pretending not to, the implication is in fact Abiy Ahmed has been thinking to invade Eritrea. If he is not deposed, he will invade Eritrea. His regime and TPLF bond survives if only he invade and win. But the question is, is this the perfect time to invade? No, he will be easily defeated for:
1) Just Amhara alone with no or little support can defeat bot Abiy Ahmed and TPLF.
2) his so called "ENDF" is the weakest in Africa, interms of military position. It is an ill-advice to encourage him invading Eritrea.
3) TPLF rag tags aka tdf are almost non-exsitent ( weakened to level of total insignifcance). Thus, TPLF will be too much of a liability than of military asset.
Thus, the question is what should Eritrea do right away? Should Eritrea buy time until Abiy Ahmed recovers from his loss and position of weakness? Or should Eritrea stand with Amhara Fano and strike when the iron is hot to dismiss both Abiy Ahmed and TPLF?

To me this a joke but let's assume Abiy did say that to arouse the Amara people because he knows how every old people in Ethiopia think about the ports. However, Eritrea just does what has been doing. Get ready for any eventuality. We all witnessed the way Eritrea responded when the Northern command was attacked. The speed of the action tells you the preparedness of for any eventuality. Eritrea doesn't need any weapons, thanks to TPLF, Eritrea is armed with every sophisticated weapon TPLF hid to attack Ethiopia. One thing I admire Eritrean intelligence team is, How do they know where to look and dig up that much and that many weapons? So, if they knew that, what else do they know. Therefore, all Eritrea has to do is, stay back and watch. If Abiy tried to mess with welqayt and Humera, then that will be the redline. And at that point, Eritrea should join FANO and finish up Abiy once and for all.Abere wrote: ↑31 Aug 2023, 12:15If you guys don't understand this or pretending not to, the implication is in fact Abiy Ahmed has been thinking to invade Eritrea. Never ever rule out Abiy Ahmed's intention of invading Eritrea. Purely, the mission is not even about getting access to sea. That is not at all his reason. Why such a plan out of the blue becomes public? He is befriended with TPLF ;and Eritrea is #1 agenda in their love making affair. The TPLF's exsitence and dream of Tigray Republic is impossible without just doing that. Also, Abiy Ahmed has similar duty of creating republic of "Oromia" -surrounded by ring leader by Lenchos, Dawud Ibssa, et al and that can only happen with the support of TPLF. It is done deal, scratch my back I will scratch yours.
It is always safe, to staying vigilant.

You are right, never underestimate your enemies. However, I truly believe that TPLF is dead. They are talking but that is what they do and that is the only thing they can do. I really don't believe that Tigryans will help Abiy to fight Amara besides the rumors and fake news. Abiy can dream all he wants but the realities in the ground are different, and he is finding it the hard way. Abiy and the agame can do all they want but they will never defeat Eritrea and FANO. NO! So far, the top generals of Abiy are holding on but is this madness continues, you will see defection like no other time.Abere wrote: ↑31 Aug 2023, 14:47ZEMEN wrote: ↑31 Aug 2023, 14:04To me this a joke but let's assume Abiy did say that to arouse the Amara people because he knows how every old people in Ethiopia think about the ports. Re: Breaking News: The U.S. has issued a stern warning to Ethiopia not to invade Eritrea.
Even if abiy and tplf wanted to invade, they know it'd end up as an epic failure. Eritrea is more than capable of defending itself.
I wouldn't trust them (abiys govt and tplf) but at the same time, they're not capable of that. I would HOPE that no ethiopian would be foolish enough to fight in such a war. They can forcefully conscript men, but that would just result in more POWs and men KIA.
Tplf already made it clear that they'd work to create conflicts between the members of the alliance that crushed them, (Abiy, Eritrea, Amara armed groups, etc).
Abiy makes it easier for them to do that by being a puppet, although it's not entirely his fault, since Ethiopia has always been dependent on their aid, Ethiopia wouldn't even exist without European and western aid. Ethiopian creation and existence has been based on serving the west.

The us is probably hoodwinking Abiy to invade Eritrea. PIA is getting too cozy with the eastern block. They have to stop him before he gives military bases to enemies of the west on the red sea. They gonna play the Fano card to coerce him to invade sooner than later, otherwise they gonna label Abiy's adventure in Amhara tegion genocidal campaign. He is between a rock and a hard place as he has no chance of winning the battle with Fano, let alone win a war with Eritrea. Every which way he turns, its all hell for him,
As to the people of Tigray, their best chance of survival should be promoting a citizen based federal constitution where their rights to live, work and prosper in any part of a new federal Ethiopia. I don't understand why they are stuck on Wolqait and Rays, when they can get the entire Ethiopia, without the need to steal.

Re: Breaking News: The U.S. has issued a stern warning to Ethiopia not to invade Eritrea.
Lovetarik,
If abiy succumbs to pressure from any entity, to invade Eritrea, then he'd regret it forever. Eritrea ain't the tplf or even fano. Or OLA. It's an actual state with a robust intelligence agency and a battle hardened army that's heavily armed. Meanwhile Ethiopia is running low on foreign exchange, has a weakened military (thanks to tplf who made sure the most experienced generals were tigrayans), is dealing with internal conflicts, etc.
I see this as distractions and propaganda, and it can't be a coincidence that its mostly tplf cyber cadres that are pushing this narrative. They are pushing for revenge against Eritrea and want abiy to use whatever resources that the exhausted state of Ethiopia can use, to assist them in this endeavor.
Obviously they know tigrayans alone cannot handle Eritrea 1 on 1. Hence why they want abiy to assist. But that's very unlikely to occur.
BTW, If nationalism doesn't matter or ethnicity, then why fight to make welkait and Raya or wherever, belong to Amara or tigray, Why not make it a special zone with joint amara tigrayan administration as opposed to it belonging to either state exclusively?

Sadacha Macca,
Your analysis is as plausible as mine in this situation. I remember how the west tricked Skdam to invade Kuwait, and we all.know the result of his adventure. I am thinking Abiy may be a means to an end game plan just like sadam was.
However, I do not agree a joint administration.of disputed.lands.
it will create perpetual infight that will beneit no one. Instead, I would advocate for citizens rights to live and prosper anywhere in.the.country, while local.governments elected.by the people who dwell.in.that locale are empowered to.run the affairs of that locale.

Re: Breaking News: The U.S. has issued a stern warning to Ethiopia not to invade Eritrea.
One of the tragic events of the last 27 years of TPLF's rule has been the ability for TPLF cadres to spread misleading conspiracy theories, mostly online, without providing evidence to support their claim, because, for them, the end justifies the means, and how others would perceive them after their outlandish claims are exposed to be lies, is the least of their concern.
Some of their claims are so ridiculous that only themselves have the ability to believe them. For example, they would say things like, the devil warned his demons not to attack angels, in an apparent effort to have the angels see the devil as a "peace-maker." Such childish behavior is consistent with people possessing an IQ score of 63.
