The Obango dynasty, first by Omar obango and later by Ali Abango ruled Gabon since 1967 and despite the country is blessed with mineral resources, strategic geographical location and only 2.3 million inhabits, 1/3 of the people lives below poverty rate. On paper despite the country is sovereign and independent, it is France, the former colonial power which is a de facto ruler of the country. The Obangos are just proxy to preserve and consolidate French interest in Gabon.
Often, dictators, after they have been in power for a long time period, they underestimate people resolve and dissatisfaction and they try to run the country with status quo condition. no reform, no improvement. They don't think that people soon or later are going to oppose their rule. Today, after the Obango claimed that he won the so called election with a landslide victory 63% of the vote, the military took maters in their hands and deposed the dictator and people are going out in the streets to express their joy and happiness in the open. And the only country which is asking for the vote to be respected is non other than France, the custodian of the Obangos.

Just like Omar obango groomed his son Ali to become the leader of Gabon, the Eritrean dictator is grooming his playboy son Abraham to replace his rule after his demise, What the dictator is doing is, keep the status quo[ state of poverty, darkness, backwardness, no prospect of bright future] by creating a sense of siege among our people. Janda Woyane was a factor utilized by the dictator to justify his incompetent rule for the last 27 years and Janda Langly, America is replacing the woyane to serve the dictator purpose now.
