Yes BRICS might be known now as if it is created by the five nations, but such idea was created (explained)by Wedi Afom while he was in the field leading the struggle of Eritrea’s independence.
The guy is a visionary leader who sees beyond decades of events.
As you can see in this interview, Eritrea doesn’t need to apply for membership but rightfully so is being invited to join it by the facts as small in population and GDP as it is, but because the face of the five nations believe that BRICS is the brain child of this new institution.
BRICS’s agenda and vision is carbon copy of what Wedi Afom wrote some 40 years ago in Nakfa and then after granted for that it been paying dearly by the west.
Now that Wedi Afom’s agenda is being fruitful, no one can bully Eritrea any more. It has over half of the world who will defend its interests.
