Here is what the analysts in my research department came up on the political dynamics of Ethiopia and the region at large.

The folks on power are the Tulama Oromo. Tulama Oromo are oromos in Shewa. These group are not seen as authentic Oromo by the Wellega Oromo (the power house of Oromo politics such as OLF). The power struggle of these two Tulama Oromo (Shoa) and Wellega Oromo (mecca) dates back as far as to the Menilik time and beyond.

The difference

Tulama Oromo is clever but coward when it comes to military. The likes of Andargachew Tsige, Neamin Zeleke, Mengistu Hailemariam, Shimeles Abidissa etc are Tulama Oromo. The current government's rank and file is filled mainly by Tulama Oromo. Also the Mengistu Hailemariams Derg government is also majority Tulama Oromo ( Mengistu himself, Tesfaye Dinka, Teka Tulu, Fekresilassie wegderes...etc)

Mecca Oromos (Wellega) are those like the intellectual Haile Fida, Lemma Megerssa, Dawd Ibssa, Jaal Merro...etc. they are genuine and unafraid to put their political agenda on the open and discuss or push for it while the Tulama is a clever, street smart and mischevious culture

Tulama oromo is coward and it is the habit of cowards to kill in mass, cause terror to rule. The Red terror is the first experiment of Tulama Oromos on EPRP youth in which they killed 50k urban EPRP youth groups. Tulama Oromo leader Mengistu chose not to resolve the Eritrean Quest for Federation, confederation or Separation through dialoge. It chose to use all the resource of the country in the Name of Ethiopia. It fought many other insurgencies and succombed the minute soviet union stopped supplying weapon

Tulama Oromo learnt the Shoa Amhara politics later and managed to create alliance with different groups in 2018 and managed to overthrow TPLF with ANDM. but the clever Tulama threw out ANDM from power and continue its reign of terror through brut force. This time even innocent children were not spared. The Tulama Oromo managed to create its own OLF-Shene wing and massacred many Amharas in Arsi, Wellega and Benishangul and blamed it on OLA (Mecca Oromo). Jaal Fekede of Meccha shene is supported, armed and directed directly from Shemelis Abdissa.

The Tulama Oromo is now in a difficult situation. It is fighting with Fano Amhara and unable to defeate it. Instead, Fano is getting stronger and stronger. To neutralize Fano, it chose the Tigray-TPLF and that put it in a direct collision with Eritrea. As of now, the Tulama Oromo is playing street smart on both Tigray and Eritrea trying to appease both but it looks like Tulama oromo can only chose one. If it chose TPLF, it will regionalize the conflict and Eritrea can jump into the war putting Fano much more stronger. If tulama chose Eritrea, Tigray will continue to conspire in UN, U.S and EU to implicate Tulama into international tribunal. Tulama Oromo made countless TDF fighters one legged and most of those perished in Tigray is through heavy weapon, drone and landmine strikes which implicate the Tulama generals and leaders. As of now, they are blaming Fano who wasn't managing the drones, heavy weapons and landmines

Tulama Oromo is now at odds with the west when it tries to play clever with both BRICS and Western world. Time is catching up on Tulama Oromo

tulama shoa oromos in 2015 made an alliance with Amharas to overthrow weyane in that sense amharas supported the tulama qeros up to 2018/2019

It was arsi jawar that infiltrated qero made his own wahabi qero to terrorize amharas. so after 2019 amharas and tulamas were seperated and unreconciled ever since. Now jawar has left politics the arsi are now out of politics maybe because their only goal was to seperate shewa

Jimmans are the ones you are talking about they use ethiopianism and wish to use ethioppianist
Amharas against fanos they are street smart and clever they wish to become the Tigray of Ethiopia and rule ethiopia by crashing Welega Shene, amhara Fano, Tigray weyane

You forgot Jimma is ruling OPDO and Tulama is working with Jimmans in ruling Oromia but there are tulama activists who are supporting with Welega Shene. Tulamas are supporting Abiy Ahmed again (ddt)

The Welegans are the ones who done genocide on woloye amharas in welega not the Tulamas

Btw it is actually Jimma vs Welega in oromia the tulamas are paying the price as the PP Jimman and OLF Welegan cause bloodshed on Tulama land so the divide in Oromo politics is by goosaa

Jimmans support Abiy to the highest degree he is like their clan leader.

Tulama Police did in fact demolish mosques and demolish houses around addis because Jimmans are muslims while tulama are Orthodox/Pente the Tulama of west shewa are now 50% Pente while the tulama of Addis zurya (central shoa) are 80-90% Orthodox

Currently Hararghe, Arsi, Bale, Guji,Borana, iIllubabor are all out of oromo politics the welegans jimmans and tulamas will strive to dominate oromia as they all learned empire politics from amhara they also speak amharic in comparison to other oromos

The sad thing is while Jimma controls ENDF and Welega controls OLF they terrorize Oromia and the Tulama do not have a high confidence to estabilish their own army or group to protect their long term interests

Tulama invaded Arsi 5 times with ras Darge, now they are claiming they had nothing to do with it... little do todays oromo know the statue they put up in arsi was actually tulama soldiers doing... they are unreliable, they blow with the wind. When menelik was up they rolled with him, when derg was high in the sky, they were there too, now with biltsigina.

Jimma is annexed by Wollega OLF inspired zealots, just like Kemissie of Wollo that are occupied by Wollega OLF. If someone asks Kemissie people who they are, they will NOT predominantly called themselves Oromo.

Dejach Aklilu got it right but Noble Beaden has no clue about it. here is a little clarity on the Jimma Oromo. Abere said it all but i will add more, first Tulama

Shimeles Abdissa is Tulama, so does Adanech Abebe and Takele Uma. Honourable parliament member Angassa Ibrahim (Harrar Oromo) spilled a lot of beans when he exposed the crimes that was being commited in Wellega. Angassa at the time thought Abiy is innocent. When OLA made grounds in kelem welegga, the tulemas tried to counter it by creating similar organization called "gashena sirna" which is their version of Shene. This group is highly armed and is lead by the shoa tulama man called Jaal Fekede. These group is the murdrous group that uses the state apparatus to massacre wollo amharas in Wellega. Jaal Merro repettedaly gave interview on this and requested independent investigation to be conducted on with deaf ear.

The fact that Abiy Ahmed never made any empathy to the killings tells you that he is orchestrating it with tulama leaders. Abiy is Jimma Oromo and he knows he has no place amongst the mecca (wellega). He never dared to travel there anyways.

If you don't know your enemy, you are making a grave strategic errors. Just looking at the events in and around Addis Abeba (sheger), you would know Tulama is now the most narsaciisst and blood thirsty group. It blocks road from Gojjam to Addis, kill travelers with impunity and takes hostage demanding millions. The same tulamma distroyed Ataye and Majete 12 times.

The Mecca (wellega) OLF is clear on its motives i.e independent Oromia. They don't care if you live among them so long as you accept their lordship. The Tulama is the errecha evil spirited group that is blood thirsty and really knows the psychological make up of Amharas since it lived together for centuries now and intermarried a lot. For Tulamas, Abiy is just a puppet that is not against their desire or plane in Ethiopia which is TPLF's version of ተረኝነት::

as to Jimma, they are not authentic Oromo. infact other ethnicities amharas, gurages, konsos, gamo live in large number in Jimma than Oromos.

Arsi Oromo is a mix of primitive and islamic. Highly divided and zero influence when it comes to politics. Only Jawar came out as a prominent person from there and he chose mecca (wellega) oromos in OFC
