The 24-year-old crowned beauty queen joined the Eritrean Chargé d’Affaires,
Berhane Solomon https://theafricanpress.com/tag/Berhane-Solomon/ in the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the 49th edition of the annual Eritrean Cultural Festival.
As an ambassador for African culture in the United States, Tewoldemedhin embraced her role with enthusiasm, using her platform to promote and showcase the diverse cultural traditions of the continent.
The queen stood tall when delivering a remarkable speech, soliciting for support ahead of her ‘
Designing For Diversity’ fundraising.
Amid the festivities, what stood out profoundly was the genuine and unfiltered joy expressed by the young children in her presence. Some that are or have been the closest to her didn’t believe or see in her as much as those children did.
The children’s unwavering trust and reliance on her left a lasting impact, serving as a potent reminder of the power of belief and support in one’s journey.
These heartwarming interactions with the little ones are now poised to fuel her determination and propel her forward, igniting a renewed drive to pursue her endeavors.
Amid the celebration, Miss Africa USA found solace in the genuine support and friendship of God, which has served as a constant source of inspiration since day one.
Gratitude was extended to the organizers of the Eritrean Festival, particularly
Suzana Solomon for the warm invitation, accommodations, and hospitality extended on behalf of the Eritrean Embassy in Washington DC.
The collaborative effort with
Milen Dawit and the support of the Miss Africa USA team were acknowledged, making the trip both productive and significant.
Miss Africa USA’s announcement was met with overwhelming love and support from her fellow Eritreans, further cementing the importance of unity and communal backing.
