The fight didn't start today or somewhere recently, it has been around for a while and now it is heading to the winning view, a multi-cultural state.

I just posted for you under the other thread the following!
"in the minds of many Ethiopianists such as Huntingford, there is no doubt as to who among the peoples of Ethiopia is a 'true Ethiopia' and who is not. Huntingford's approach reveals that the perspective of the scholars has merged with the perspective of the dominant society, i.e., the Semitic speakers of Ethiopia"

The tolerant and peaceful Oromo community of Ethiopia, the guarantor of peace in the HoA.

You are sleepless and you better be.
What goes around will come around. The naive Amaharas helped you come to power in good intentions and saved you from the TPLF. And you betrayed them.
Good luck with your love fest with the TPLF.

You are trying to present "the alternative fact", even that is debunked.

It is not Oromo betrayed Amhara, it is due to the change in the way Ethiopia was administered and is now administered.
Did you miss this?

Anyhow Abere's and your boys have finally found the gut and decided to get out of the civilian cover and take the fight to the rural parts of Gojam Teraroch, which means the decisive hours are not much long after now.

Swallow it!

Dedeb.
Just watch how things unfold. We have been there and done that.
I don’t think you get it. I will repeat: enjoy your love fest with the TPLF while it lasts.

DefendTheTruth,

I have been introspective for a while now if it hasn't been a de facto multilingual and multicultural country for a long time. The inflection point for me was remembering the proportion of Ethiopians that live in the countryside.

If over eighty percent of the citizens of Ethiopia have been practicing languages and cultures locally irrespective of the cultural and linguistic inclinations of the State, can it not be called a de facto multilingual and multicultural country? I think this is highly debatable.

It wasn't a very long time ago when sitting next to my late mom at night, I incidentally saw tears run down her cheeks silently. Initially, I didn't understand the reason. That was the only time that I saw it like that.

It quickly occurred to me that a family radio was on with Abitew Kebede's አነ ጉድሱፍ music playing and she was hearing it incidentally because she wasn't sitting idle at the time. I understood the source of that kind of emotion, which was very hard for me to see any other time.

Before I left for further education, I left with her a small radio tape player that I had along with both of Abitew Kebede's cassettes.

It was also not that long ago that the singer Abitew Kebede who was loved by millions told millions that he had stopped singing and started preaching. Some of us disagreed with his inclination and said no at a moment's notice. I don't think that folklore coming back has proven us wrong. I don't know if he is singing again or has any inclination to sing again.

Yes, it is also debatable if a de facto multicultural and multilingual country is different from the inclinations of the State to remain multilingual and multicultural. Traditionally, States and religious institutions have had skewed inclinations. Ethiopia wasn't an exception even though its once famous ህብረትርዒት was in the right direction.

In my opinion, what makes Ethiopia's case different is how much energy and resources were lost for a long time to address the issue. It need not continue to do so because generations of Ethiopians get left in the quagmire so much so that some don't know how to define a State.

Just imagine in the time you started talking about Ethiopia's political problems, presumably from the early days of the Ethiopian Student Movement until now, how many satellites and rockets have been launched successfully into space from how many different countries around the world. This is painful to think about. Is it not?

The most blatant charlatanry of the crude tribalist, DDT, becomes evident as he launches into an extensive, yet phony, lecture about the virtues of a multinational Ethiopia. However, in practice, he supports the dominance of one tribe over others in all aspects of Ethiopian life. Those who resist this domination are unjustly labeled as opposing the virtuous state. The supporters of Weyane from Tigray have employed similar tactics, and now the new backers of Oromimu are following suit. Hence, these actions are unlikely to deceive anyone.

Just as during the final days of the Weyane tribalist regime, we now observe a parallel scenario in the closing days of the Abiy and Shimils leadership. The chorus of "multinationalism" is played like a broken record, as they wrongly believe that their domination equates to true multinationalism. Multinationalism means granting every Ethiopian political, economic, and cultural freedom, without the divisive influence of political cadre-driven tribal agitation that paints fellow Ethiopians as enemies. It envisions a country where all Ethiopians can live, trade, and learn according to their preferences, without being considered foreigners in their own land simply due to administrative borders.

Contrary to your beliefs, the leaders you praise as the best Ethiopia has ever seen actually practice the opposite of what you claim to support. Despite your words, the truth will ultimately prevail; we just need to wait a little longer.

I don't think there will be any escape rout any more, you have willingly drove yourself into an impasse and thereby also left a lasting dark-spot on the history of the Amhara people, whom many were considering the backbone of modern day Ethiopia, which is a great privilege.

Gone is the day Ethiopia was equated with Amhara and vice versa.

I have told you already there is a great responsibility coming with a great privilege. You have damaged the name and reputation of the Amhara people in Ethiopia.
