አታዮ ወዲ ዓድዋ፣ ደሃይ አዶ ትግራይ እኒሄካ'ዶ? ንስኹም ወየንቲ ልትግራይና ዓዲ ሃንጊ ማንጊ ጌርኩምዋ። እኖኻ እማ ደሃይካ ጠፊኡወን እዙይ ፈታይ ፁቡቕ ወደይ ብድልድይ'ዶ ፀዲፉ ሞይቱ ይኸውን እላበላ ሻቕሎት አትዩወን አሎ። እስቲ ኡቱ ልኤርትራ ሙቁዋም ይፅናሓልካ እና ላብ ትግራይ ስልኪ ደዊልካ ልኽብርቲ እኖኻ ማዓልክን ሓደርክን በለን ተስፋ ክኾነን።

Lord, have mercy on those who attempt to appear smart by sounding Biblical. For they know not how foolish they sound.
