By all standards, Fano won the first round of war: militarily and politically. Their only shortcoming was they do not use drones and fighter jets. Other than this, they deflated Abiy Ahmed's empty brag of the strength and professionalism of his defense force - his OLF-ENDF was ቢከፍቱ ተልባ. Fano took the world by surprise swift maneuver, lightening attack, raise the bar how a figher looklike.
I think the Ethiopian people have debt of grattitude to Fano. If Fano did not fight against TPLF in the last 3 rounds of war, the country would have been in infested back with TPLF and play ground of terrorism. Now, the public knows it was not ENDF that defeated TPLF, it was indeed Fano.
