I have been reading and hearing reports of senseless and deadly fighting in both Amhara and Oromia regions. Very sad news indeed. I get crestfallen whenever I hear news of such senseless conflicts and destruction. In such fighting tens, hundreds and thousands of young people lose their Allah blessed and gifted lives. With every fallen youth I mourn as if I have lost one of my own children. As always I held both the regime and those who fan the flames of war from their protected joint in the bushes there and their comfy homes here among us. I hold the regime in sharing responsibilities for not reigning in some of its officials from giving hateful speeches at rallies and public meetings. On one side our noble Amhara brothers and sisters are maligned as 'colonizers' and sisters and on the other hand a bunch of ghouls congregated around so-called 'liberation army' kill and chase them away from their homes and farm where they lived for decades and some times for more than a century. I don't blame for that Amhara for not feeling safe and protected in Oromia and even in his own region adjust to Oromia and Tigray. He/she is being given ear full whenever the president or another high regional official moves his jaw at meetings and rallies. The truth is the current population has nothing to do or bears responsibilities for what took place more than a century ago. These officials talk as such because they want to maintain their lucrative and rewarding status they have now. In stead of firing their poisonous asses the regime did not even admonish them. That, right there, will make the targeted youth feel unsafe and lethally vulnerable. That is when those connivers come in from their hideout bushes. They tell the disturbed, unemployed and gullible youth 'We told you so. See, the regime wants you dead and gone. It is time to defend yourself and at least die trying. We have brand new and fully loaded with 250 ammo AK47's for you. You remember so and so who was imprisoned by the regime last year? He/she is with us with a machine gun and 20 fighters under his/her command. Come on and join him/her'. So it goes, the country continues bleeding of its future, the youth. Meanwhile the number of paid subscribers is rising for those trouble 'miners' on YouTube and other social media outlets. You can them with ever bulging beer guts and double/triple fat chins. Some of these connivers and hate pushers do that shamelessly to embellish their political asylum applications. That is why I hold both the regime and these smart aleck con artists responsible for the bloodsheds both in Amhara and Oromia regions.

The best medicine for such unabated conflict could have been an all out industrialization. Anything that works towards to the widespread industrialization of that country is good news and should be encouraged. Mushrooming of factories be it industrial or agricultural is the only way that will deny fodder for destructive bigots and rabble rousers from the youth population. It is the only and effective way of weaning the hapless/unemployed youth from conniving hateful and war mongering groups. Just imagine the tremor that can erupt on global scale if that country of more than 125 million people goes belly up. That means 125 million people of which 60% are still young going in every direction. Most of these will be battle hardened monsters for whom bloodletting has been like a hit and extremely entertaining movie. To such young monsters there is no difference between a dead cow and a dead human being. We hear reports that there are young and university level educated people in their hundreds of thousands who have been unemployed for quiet sometime now. At some point such young unemployed people will stop sending their resumes to potential employers. They will just give up hope. That is when the conniving bigots and rabble rousers come in. They tell the disturbed youth they have the ultimate solution and the solution can only come out of the barrel of the guns. They tell that hopeless and gullible youth ‘You see that Amhara in your hood? He/she was the reason for your unemployment. Go and smoke him/her. You see that Oromo next to your house. He/she is that Oromummaa that took away all the employment from you. Go and blast him/her. Here is a spanking brand new AK47 for you’. This is what is fueling the unrest in both Amhara and Oromo regions. No matter how some of us want to embellish it that is the reality on the ground in those two regions. It is believed that many fighters in both OLA and Fano have university level education. Very sad but true. The main reason I have been advocating an all out industrialization is with such process comes sufficient employment and opportunities for personal upward mobility. It will usher the liberation of our glorious women as they will be flooding factories and out of their lifetime house imprisonment. We should all press and encourage companies who currently manufacture their products at foreign factories to give our old country a look/chance. The youth of that country does not need to get and raise guns. It needs sustaining jobs at factories and offices. Enough, enough, enough with violence and bloodletting. Enough is enough!!!

all this can be solved by Dirider. If the Federal does not want to accept negioations it will degrade its position in Amhara. OPDO and Baden lack authority in their regions to have Dirider because Abiy took the Negus Position pro-longing conflicts

Yes, moderation, restraints and intervention by elders are crucial and deciding factors on what to follow. Both regions can go either or two ways: choosing peaceful solutions or go asunder with senseless bloodletting they have never seen in their modern history. The youth in both does not deserve to die or maimed in stupid battles ignited both by bigots in the bushes and tone deaf officials at the top echelons. I have thrown my lots on the ingenuity of the elders in both regions and I am speaking from my own first hand/on location experience going back to my early childhood in the 1950's where I witnessed how tribal elders thwarted an all out bloodshed between an Itu clan and Issa tribesmen. Elders should be given all the leeway they need so they can bring the badly needed peace and stability in both regions.

I am not against the ENDF. I personally believe the policy to make ENDF a enemy of Amhara People is not only financed by Abiy but also those behind Abiy such as Imperial White America and the Elluminati.
The Regional Government does not have a say in the conflict. dismantling the regional special force also created a power vacuum so it was a bad move because the power structure was weakened considerably without the demand of the Amhara Region People being addressed nor their opinions considered. the only way to reverse the damage is to have a peace deal.

Haven't you heard that paragraphs not only do they make a text easier to read, but also, they play an important role in writing because they provide a framework for organising your ideas in a logical order!
Just a thought.

Okay, I will make a note of that next time around. Thank you for your valuable input and for being so civil at that.

It is now reported that Ethiopian Airlines has suspended daily flights to certain towns and cities in Amhara region. This is very sad news. It seems we don't learn from others in our own country. Senseless violence and destruction have refused to let that gem of the colored go. They don't seem ready to leave that country alone. Just imagine the inevitable if this spotty face-off gets out of hand into an all out region wide conflict. In previous similar conflict it took place in a region of a much smaller size. It is reported that close to a million citizens had perished in a region of less than 6.5 million people. The population in Amhara region is close to 30 million.
Take the casualty of a million in a region with 6.5 million people and extrapolate that in a region of close to 30 million. That is not something I want to dwell on it. For those of you who get high fanning the flames of war from your comfy homes here among our Diaspora, don't think this is a laughing matter. It is not funny, okay! You must be ashamed of yourselves!!!
There is another one that has been raging in the western part of Oromia that has not been getting the attention of the West and its media. That one worries me even more. Even though we hear a lot of exaggerated 'feats' of so-called OLA what I'm getting from my relatives is the group is not a cohesive one. By one estimate there are at least 8 factions of armed vagabonds roaming that region. Each has its own sub leaders and operation style. Some of them are outright robbers and at will murderers. Their main source of revenue is ransom they are remunerated by those they kidnap. They are now confined in rural areas where law enforcement is thin. But it is a matter of time before they barge into large towns and cities. Then you will see the two backbones of the country, Amhara and Oromia regions, going belly up at the same time. That is the dreaded scenario depriving me sleep for quite some time now. May Our Creator Save That Blessed Country; So that country which produced Bilal ibn Rabah and Mary Magdalene who saved both major religions of that country and the world Shall not perish.
