I heard yesterday from those on the scene (perhaps for the first time in the whole of my life) that there are about 28 different types of soil in the world.

From those 28 different types of soils in the world there are 22 different types in Ethiopia, I think about 75 % of the total are found in Ethiopia.

This is more than a gift, a blessing, which we didn't want to catch on and translate it into precious commodity for ourselves and the rest of the world.

Soil is the foundation of everything, we come from it, we go back to it, we sustain our lives on it in between those two points.

No other country in this world has got such a diversity of this most precious resource in the planet, said the commentator.

This is more than a mere Gift in reality.
