He collected money from many people by making unrealistic promises (unrealistic goal/benefits, which he admitts to, he is a certain superficial) and now tries to hide himself behind the decision making power of the Shareholders, which simply is an indication of an ill-will.
He admits to the fact that he couldn't make a realistic feasibility study of the investment, this alone is enough reason to make him culpable.

Horus እንዳይሰማህ… he is an ardent supporter of this man. Unfortunately there are many Ethiopians like Horus who consider fraud or scam as a regular job. Innocent people will pay the price for all this.

Do you know what a prospectus is? A prospectus is an essential disclosure document that a company has to issue at the time of issuing investment securities to the public. The investor has to weigh in the pros and cons of investing in the company before he/she invests. But as a rule, there is always risk in investment. To invest and not invest is the individual person's prerogative. This guy invited the government and other none governmental agencies to examine the investment policies and organizational structures. What more he can do? Everything that is beyond your pay grade to understand is not always a scam. investment and loss go hand in hand, also investment and profit.

The guy doesn't even understand (or purposely obfuscates the matter at hand) the meaning of KPI and Goal of (a business) endeavor, he tried to depict everything in rosy pictures, as if his investment is the top in the world. Once he was asked about why then people are complaining about their money, he simply replied "this is in the nature of investment".
The man needs a close scrutiny, least of all!

This is simply the nature of prosperity gospel: talk and show rosy picture only and conceal the risks and the obstacles.
How on earth could anybody think that it is possible to raise 10 billion from poor people of Ethiopia unless one believes Mamo Killo's slogan of achieving wheat exporter status in a country that is known to be drought prone and technologically backward.
