Van der Poel was fined 500 CHF and relegated from 16th to 22nd for his bumping off Bini, losing 13 points in the green jersey standings in the process.
It wasn't a super smooth lead out like yesterday,
Philipsen said later.
We lost each other because it was so hectic, more than I expected.
