ኤርትራዊ ንትግራይ ዝጻረር ስነልቦና ስለዘይብሉ፣ ስድሪ'ውን ትኹን መሬት ትግራይ ስለዘይወስድ፣ ተጋሩ ምስ ኤርትራውያን ናብ ጎደና ፍቅርን ሰላምን ኣምርሑ።

1. ሳላ ሓገዝ ኤርትራ (ምድሪ ባሕሪ) እያ፣ ትግራይ ካብ ወራር ግራኝ፣ ወራር ጋላን ድሒና፣ ዶባ ውን ክሳብ ኣላውሃ ዝተዋሕሰ።

ብመሪሕነት ምክኤል ስሑል (1759) ግና፣ ትግራይ ንኤርትራ (ምድሪ ባሕሪ) ጠሊማ ምስወረርት፣ ግዝያዊ ጸብለልታ ናብ ነዊሕ ምንቁልቋልን ብርሰትን ናይ ዘበነ-መሳፍንቲ ኣኸቲሉ።

2. እዚ ታሪኽ እዚ፣ ብመሪሕነት ካሳ (ሃጸይ ዮውሃንስ) ተደጊሙ። ሳላ ሓገዝ ኤርትራ (ምድሪ ባሕሪ) እያ፣ ትግራይ ንግብጺ ስዒራ፣ ንኢትዮጵያ ዝመለኸት። ብ1878 ግና ንራስ ኣሉላ ናብ መረብ-ምላሽ ብምልኣኽ፣ ትግራይ ንኤርትራ (ምድሪ ባሕሪ) ጠሊማ ወረርት። እዚ ግዝያዊ ጸብለልታ ግና፣ ብስዕረት መተማ ተዛዚሙ፣ ትግራይ ውን ናብ ነዊሕ ምንቁልቋልን ብርሰትን ኣተወት።

3. ንሳልሳይ ግዜ፣ እዚ ታሪኽ እዚ፣ ብመሪሕነት መለስ (ወያኔ) ተደጋጊሙ። ብ1991 ሳላ ሓገዝ ኤርትራ (ህዝባዊ ግምባር ወይ ሻዕብያ) እያ፣ ትግራይ ንደርጊ ስዒራ፣ ንኢትዮጵያ ዝመለኸት። ብ1998-2018 ግና፣ መሪሕነት ወያኔ ንኤርትራ ጠሊሞም፣ ብኩናት፣ ንህዝቢ ብምስጓግ፣ ብዓለማዊ እገዳ፣ ዲፕሎማሲያዊ ተነጽሎን ክርኽሙሽዋ ን20 ዓመታት ጽዒሮም፣ ኣይሰመረሎምን። እንሆ ድማ፣ ግዝያዊ ጸብለልታ ወያኔ ናብ ነዊሕ ምንቁልቋልን ብርሰትን ኣኸቲሉ።

ስለዚ፣ ሕጂ ውን ትግራይ ምስ ኤርትራ ብምፍቃርን ብምትሕግጋዝን እያ ክትቀስንን ክትምዕብልን እትኽእል። ታሪኻዊ ጌጋታት ንመሃረሎም እምበር፣ ኣይንደጋግሞም።

Ahmed gragn was not defeated by tigriyans and kebessa eritreans rather by the 400 well-armed and well-trained Portuguese troops and the gondar amharas who were under the rule of atse gelawdios who ascended the throne after the death of his father atse libnedingil.

Atsie libnedingil lost the battle against ahmed gragn and was on the run. Gragn was chasing him all the way to the hill of zeban dammo or abune aregawi monastery located south of adi grat in present day tigray.

Libnedingil was hiding in the impregnable hill. It is a rocky hill, in order to climb the hill the priests there must pull you with thick robes and still it remained so till now.

Ahmed gragn arrived at the scene and was determined to capture libne dingil waited for a day or two but to no avail then he gave up.

Then he marched with his troops north and after few days, he arrived at a town called DEBARWA, located in present day Eritrea. It was the main seat of the bahri-negasi. Here the imam gragn and his troops were welcomed with open arms. Women ululating, men beating big drums and blowing horns and floats.

The imam stayed in Debarwa for some days and then he departed. Headed back to the south, he never ever burned a single church in Eritrea.

In a nutshell neither tigriyans nor kebessa eritrean fought him rather the Portuguese and the gonder amharas. Do not try to re-write history.

BTW, the author shahab eddin was a war chronicler, he accompanied ahmed gragn in all of his conquests in abyssina. In short, he was an eyewitness.
