Those who have been taking a shelter in the country's churches and monestaries, among others, to wage an armed uprising against the demorartically elected government in attempt to topple it have also admitted the fact that the current government is better than its predecessor.

This can only be one more testimony that this force is not only a reactionary one but also openly fights against progress, wants to pull back the nation decades or centuries back.

According to you, progress is the opposite. In passing, you copied and pasted Abiy's Fana and Ebs propaganda piece, thinking that the crimes committed will remain concealed. Your Oromo coward generals encircle a monastery where elderly and frail religious individuals reside, claiming to capture the phantom Eskender, yet you kill 200 civilians (as stated by Fana), destroy the historic church using heavy artillery, but find no Eskender or rebels to support your baseless claim. For every crime Abiy committed, he will face multiple consequences. Your disjointed statements of lies cannot conceal the magnitude of the crimes committed by Abiy and Shimeles. What are you trying to "salvage" here?

They said "the genie is out of the bottle" (if it was indeed not before by any stretch of an imagination).

That you are opposed to a progress was out for anybody to see and judge, even if one may tend to think progress is relative.

It is not if you are opposing against the government in power today and its predecessor, the issue is that you didn't oppose the predecessor as fiercly as you do the current one, you raised your arms.

Had you answered these two questions, you wouldn't have had to manufacture this garble of an argument.

What has changed? Meles was riding his tribal horse in the name of Tigrians, and Abiy is riding his tribal horse in the name of Oromos. What is the difference between the two? The first had ironclad control and used brute force to stay in power. The second created anarchy first in its own domain in Oromia, then used Ethiopian nationalism to sideline the Weyane party, and now it is waging a baseless war in Amhara while shamelessly supporting the OLF, which is responsible for killings, prison breaks, and demanding millions in ransom.

The second question you have to ask is, did you think the Ethiopian people's struggle was to replace one ethnic warlord with another ethnic warlord while keeping the same system intact? No, it wasn't. The charlatan gained significant support initially because he understood what the Ethiopian people wanted, but he thought he was so clever that he wanted to lead us off a cliff by promising us greener pastures. The intensity of the struggle is going to increase exponentially in a year or so. Ethiopians haven't fought for 27 years to give another opportunity to another ethnic opportunist.
