A million Agames have perished in the most useless war in history. June 22 is supposed to be Tigray's day of remembrance for their martyrs. But one of the key figures responsible for the holocaust, Gininar Tsadqan, is currently relaxing and recovering in the USA. I doubt if any Agame recognizes the repugnance of Tsadqan's total disregard for the memory of the dead. What is even more insulting is the attempt by the TPLF thugs to justify away the death of 1 million children as ሻላ ዝተቓለስና ሰላም ኣግኒኒና (We ensured our peace because of our struggle). Nothing could be more heatless and ridiculous than this. For Agames, the million dead are an embarrassment: They demonstrate better than anything the pointlessness of the "struggle". They are a constant reminder of the total defeat Tigray suffered. That is why they wish to forget them. That is why they forget them!
To have died in a pointless war is horrible. But to be an embarrassment to the living is infinitely worse.
