U.S. Special Envoy to the Horn of Africa Hammer and Ambassador Jacobson met with the African Union’s Monitoring, Verification, and Compliance Mechanism team in #Mekele and with General Radina in Addis. The United States welcomes the extension of the AU-MVCM’s mandate until December as a key component of working toward a sustainable peace.
