African Union's Monitoring, Verification and Compliance Mission's mandate in Tigray extended until December
U.S. Special Envoy to the Horn of Africa Hammer and Ambassador Jacobson met with the African Union’s Monitoring, Verification, and Compliance Mechanism team in #Mekele and with General Radina in Addis. The United States welcomes the extension of the AU-MVCM’s mandate until December as a key component of working toward a sustainable peace.
