Ethiopia is Still Amapia (Amaranet Dominated), Not Yet Oropia (Oromumma Led)!

Ethiopia, to exist as a country, has only two options: either continue being dominated by Amaranet/Amarigna or start to be led by Oromiffa/Oromumma. The hitherto Ethiopia belongs to the first option, thus can be called Amapia (Amaranet dominated Ethiopia). Oromo national struggle achieved a lot in the last 50 years of struggle led by the OLF. But, still we didn’t liberate Oromia in particular and Ethiopia in general from the existing system of Amaranet domination. Oromo Properitans led by Dr. Abiy are not as such suitable for this step of movement. They seem to rever Amarigna, instead of giving due respect to Oromiffa. That is why they are not yet ready to promote Afaan Oromo to its legitimate position of being primary working language of the federation. Amara elites in the ruling party are also smart enough and are doing every thing under the sun to maintain the ongoing domination of Amaranet in Finfinne palace and in the whole country. It is up to the genuine Oromo nationalists in OFC, OLF and even OPP to change this status quo towards the legitimate leadership of Oromiffa/Oromumma. To this purpose, Afaan Oromo should be promoted to primary working language of the federal institutions, replacing Amarigna. Then, slowly but surely, Ethiopia can be transformed from Amapia to Oropia (Oromumma led country). Till then, Amapia exists and neither Oromia nor Oropia is free from the system of Amaranet domination.

But, the ongoing tendenz in Oromo politics is crystal clear. There is huge paradigm shift from wanting only liberation of Oromia to possible transformation of the whole Ethiopia to Oropia. The hitherto Ethiopia, including Abiy Ahmed’s Ethiopia is dictatorially dominated by Amharanet/Amharigna. This is illegitimate for the fact that Oromo people speaking Afaan Oromo are at least about 40% of the population being followed by Agaw people about 20%. If there is Amara at all, only few identify themselves as such (about 10% of the population), because most of Amarigna speaking people know very well that their origin is either Agaw or Oromo. That is why it is now the right time for genuine Oromo nationalists to opt for Oropia.

The old Ethiopiawinet dominated by Amaranet is dying slowly, but surely. Oromo republicans should infiltrate and hijack the ruling Biltsiginna party of Abiy Ahmed in order to persuade him to abandon keeping the domination of Amaranet and to promote the legitimate leadership of Oromumma. For this purpose, they should influence him to promote Afaan Oromo be primary language of the country replacing Amarigna. Ethiopia with Afaan Oromo as primary language to be used in all institutions including the palace, parlament, government, justice, security, military etc will be de facto Oropia. Such move of transforming Ethiopia to Oropia seems to be the new objectiv of almost all Oromo politicians, instead of fighting to liberate only Oromia.

We all know that true Ethiopia = Cush = Oropia. Since about 3000 years ago, systematic anti-Cushitism is going on; the Western elites and their Abyssinian friends did build Ethiophobic Ethiopia (anti-Cushitic Ethiopia) with 3000 years “glorious history”. The main features of this movement are:

– denying the existance of all Cushitic civilzations and/or giving it to others; e.g both Egypt civilization and Axum civilization are attributed to the Semites.
– Cushitic leaders are given fake ancestry, so that they claimed to be from either Mohamed ancestory or from Solomon dynasty.
– Cushitic culture and languages are undermined in Cushitic countries like today’s Ethiopia.
– Cushitic religion (Hige-libona or Waaqefanna) is systematically weakened.
– the main Cushitic language, Afaan Oromo, is yet purposely denied the status of federal working language, just to undermine the Cushitic cultural heritage of Ethiopia
– Cushitic peoples are purposely classified into other categories; e.g all the Omotic and Ethiosemetic are actually Cushites.
– Habesha elites are fighting against the liberation forces of the Cushites being masked with Ethiopiawinet; their version of Ethiopiawinet is actually Ethiophobic.
– true Ethiopiawinet (Kushawinet) loves for example the Oromo and Oromumma, but Habesha elites preach Oromophobic Ethiopiawinet.

Because of this confusion regarding pseudo-Ethiopiawinet vs true Ethiopiawinet, the Oromo have to prefer calling the current Ethiopia as Oropia, just like re-naming Addis Abeba to Finfinne. We don’t accept the de-Cushiticized pseudo-Ethiopia, but we struggle for the renaissance of true Ethiopiawinet with all ist Cushitic elements on the grave of the now flourishing Habeshawinet as the main component of the daily preached Ethiophobic Ethiopiawinet! One of the Cushitic elements to be revived is the Agaw culture and language in the whole Agaw-Midir, not only in the small enclaves now speaking Agawinya.
