He draws his strength from God that he has defeated both the devil and death. It was a successful trip.

With "socialists" like @jacobin peddling lies about Eritrea by that nasty racist journo, Michela Wrong, who needs imperialist enemies? These days, Western "left" "socialists" are finally exposing themselves for being the longtime treacherous 5th-column proxies of imperialism.

I liked his humility not to mention his eloquence. No pretension, no rhetoric, no dwelling on abstract political theories or citing western 'experts' to feel 'validated'.....just being himself. Here is another gentleman, Mr. Girmay (one of my favorite actually) in the same interview; two generations, and the baton has been passed......

You're absolutely right, he's invincible, as no Eritrean has been able to challenge him to his demise to date. He has been forcing thousands of Eritreans to flee the country, while butchering tantamount, and terrorising the rest and coercing them to live in a permanent environment of fear, abject poverty, and extreme hopelessness on a daily basis.
The priests know perfectly well that he's just playing his periodical usual comedy for a few photographs more, as he's the only one who's bowed to in the entire country and no one else, priest, God, or not.
I bet the priests are saying in a small voice with fear and trepidation, "This fucker is making fun of us!"
