Why don't most popular singers who have other ethnic such as Grurage sing in Guragigna also ? I don't like mixing the music in Gurage but they sing in Amharic, why destroy own culture? embrace your culuter Gurages! Yes, Amaras/Oromos are your brothers but don't make Gurage small by not singing and developing the songs! I heard Aster Aweke and Amelmal abate are Gurages too! they should add the spice too by being creativ! Never be embarassed about it!! Even the Asian guy next to him dances better than Teddy

As I always say, yes I like Amharic song too, but other songs must develop too! I think now Tigrigna has developed. The rest must as well.

Your comments may apply to only Tedy Afro. That is all. He was born in Addis and raised by Amara mother. All the other famous Gurage artist have many, many Gurgegna songs. What you might not know is that there are really too many Gurage musical artists who are only ethnic singers. In fact, relative to its population Gurage has more musicians than any other ethnic Group . A while ago, I counted close to 70-80 guragegna ethnic singers alone.

Whaat? Hirut Bekele and Fantish (Tamagn's wife is gurage?) I don't think so. What I am trying to say is that if that is so, why don't they develop Gurage song too! You are diverting my questions.

የኔ ወንድም ጥያቄህ ምን እንደ ሆነ አልገባኝም! ጉራጌ እንደነ አብርሃም ወልዴ፣ ኤሊያስ መልካ ያሉ ዘፋኝ ሳይሆን የሙዚቃ ሳይንቲስቶች ያሉበት ባህል ነው ። ሙዚቃው ካልጣመህ ጉራጌ ስላልኮንክ ነው !
