Fascist Italy considered Amharas/EOTC as the biggest threat to their colonial ambitions in Ethiopia and surrounding countries. In their 5 years of occupation, they committed unspeakable crimes directed at mainly Amharas and patriotic Ethiopians. Fascist Italians were unable to finish what they started, but their black and inferiority-complex-ridden students, TPLF and OLF, are trying to succeed where their European masters failed.
