I bet they called his shene as's and asked to explain what he did
And he is sensing they are looking to replace him. We will soon hear him begging Amara, no question about it! He will soon say ኢትዮጵያ ወይም ሞት። ኢትዮጵያን በነጮች አናስደፍርም። የአማራ ህዝብ ስህተታችንን አይቶ እንዲምረን እንጠይቃለንን

No, they are putting more pressure on him to implement the American Pretoria agreement by committing genocide on the Amharas. They want more war and bloodshed.

Well, they can't ask him to keep pushing because he lost the freekn war and it will back fire on them, they don't want risk having someone they don't want. And they are seeing other ethincs and the army backing-up Amara which means it could very much be outside of their control too. So they have to let him go!

I am not saying that their position can not change as developments become unfavourable for him and for them with time.
For now the order of Blinken and Schulz to Dr Abiyot Ahmed Ali is : use all means including war and bloodshed to subdue the Amharas and force them to vacate Wolkait,Humera, Tsegedé and Raya.
