The president of Oromia region Mr. Shimelis Abdisa has handed over 589 agricultural tractors to the users.
The tractors are for farmers in the region and partial farmers and for youth who are looking for jobs.
In addition to Mr. Shimeles, vice president Mr. Awolu Abdi, the region's higher officials and farmers were present at the ceremony.

The farmers saved 30% of the tractor price and the remaining 70% of the payment was taken over by government bank loan.
