Isaias made it clear in interview he sides with Gen. Hemeti Dagalo on time-frame for RSF's integration into Sudan army

Post by sarcasm » 01 May 2023, 19:39

Why has violence erupted in Sudan now?

Central to the tension was a disagreement between the army and the paramilitary over when the RSF should be integrated into the military.

The army wanted the transition to happen within 2 years while the RSF said it would take 10 years.

The merger was a key condition of a framework deal agreed in December that would have seen power shifted to civilians.

The agreement was supposed to be signed on 1 April, but it was delayed because of failed talks.

Pres. Isaias said the the merger should happen after a very long time after the transition is over and after a civilian government is established agreeing with Hemedti's vision.

2 Years!

10 Years!

Many years after the transition is over and many years after Civilian government is established (10 or longer Years!)

Al-Burhan brought the issue of merger when the document of the process of transition based on the framework agreement had taken its final shape because he felt that he would lose everything once the army is precluded from getting involved in politics. Hence his choice for war and violence as a disruptive tactic.

His two years proposal was not meant for real merger but to consume and digest the RSF out of existence under the guise of integrating it into the army. Of course the RSF guys being intelligent decided to come up with their own plan : merger within 10 years or longer. If there is no trust it is normal to take more time to build trust in a natural way.

Regarding DIA standing with alburhan of sudan, he has read it clearly, saudi is with alburhan and his ex-friend himidty is losing ground by the day.
I happen to have opposite reading of Isaias's position on the conflict between the two generals. The Erisat's guys reading is based on Isaias's criticism of Hemeti's alleged claim that he brought the revolution.

Did you listen to Isaias's interview? If yes, what is your reading of Isaias's position based on this interview?

Hi,

If I claim that I have followed his interview in its entirety or to the end then I would be a big liar.

But it is our eritrean internal affairs so ugums stay out of it.

You ugums should know that we eritreans are united irrespective of region, ethnicity, or faith. Comparatively you ethios including you ugums who are perhaps over 110 million are at each others throat as we speak.

So leave eritreans alone. We are a small family perhaps 4 million but we love our country and we are proud for being called ERITREANS. Remember our flag is flying at the UN quarters.

Finally,

Once the ruling current mafia regime in eritrea becomes history then you will see how we will modernize our rich country and how we will make it look like Singapore.

Believe me on this.
