Oromos have been historically marginalized while contributing significant share in the continuity of Ethiopia!

- Oromia is the back bone of the present day Ethiopia in all sectors such as politics, social and economy
- Oromos have been historically the majority in the Ethiopian army ( lower level) and have made huge sacrifice to assure the continuity of Ethiopia as a free nation( Adwa , Eritrea( pre and post independence of Eriteria) , Somalia war etc)
- Ethiopia's world class stand and reputation in Athletics have been impossible with out the legendary and current runners from Oromia
- Ethiopias' export economy is largely based on Oromia
- Oromia is the binding glue between the North and Southern Ethiopia.
- EPRDF has contributed a lot to empower and bring out all marginalized Ethiopian to the front and the Oromos have benefited in economy , social, cultural, religious and political empowerment. Such empowerment has helped them to assume leadership position at this time.
- Every Ethiopian has to support and accept the
leadership role Oromos are currently playing , as far as they significantly improve / reduce corruption , widen the democratic space leadership and treat all Ethiopians equally irrespective of ethinic background.
