You missed the point. The other ethincs including Afar are exposed to tribalisim happening in Ethiopia. That is why you see too many diasporas opposing Isayas. It does not seem like it from the outside but Ethiopia is more stable than Eritrea because Amara, Gurage, Afar, South, Somali and many oromos do not compromise with Ethiopia. That sense of strength in regards to nationality is not there when it comes to the other tribes of Eritrea. So God forbid if any disastrous situation like what we see in Sudan is to happned in Eritrea, you will not see the other tribes fighting to death to save Eritrea, and the foreign forces will jump in to divide them, for example they are interested in uniting the Afars. At least the Eritreans I know do not sound like they will fight to the end if something like that was to happened. They sound like the guy on the video, they hate Isayas too much, they actually like meles better.

That is why I say it is very important for the Hamassien to strengthen its ties with Amara..

Did you know that Eritrea was called merit hammassien? Meaning the land of hammassiens.
