The weakness of Bekele Gerba (and Lidetu)

I have followed Oromo/ Ethiopia politics for long and I have nothing but respect for Bekele Gerba and his party, the OFC.
I watched his recent interview with Kush and I sensed a weakness. Bekele Gerba’s weakness is that his struggle is not focused on Abiy/ OPDO/ PP or the federal government. Instead, his opposition focused on elites of a region in the North.
By focusing on a region that’s struggling against Abiy, Bekele is indirectly helping Abiy extend his inhumane rule. Not intentionally but he, in my view, is hurting the struggle of Ethiopians against the brutal regime.
Hopefully, with all due respect, he is able to work on this weakness and focus the struggle against Arat Kilo.
p.s. I understand this weakness is exhibited by many on all sides of the Ethiopian politics, not just Bekele/ OFC.
