Abiy's in a tough spot, surrounded on all sides by conflicting interests:
1) tplf, watching carefully, excited, hoping to somehow see this current issue in Amara escalate, then take advantage. no doubt, they want revenge, and mostly against those to the south of them (amara/afar/ethiopia), since they know eritrea is too strong and prepared for them.
2) External powers, whose aid ethiopia has always been dependent upon, who have their own interests (even if abiy goes, the next pm will be their puppet too, yes-even if he's from Amara, i.e. haile selassie was their loyal puppet for decades). the debt and aid they have ethiopia trapped in, cannot be underestimated, and the countries been going broke, since abiy came to power, checked the countries funds and say ''wey gud, this is not gud.''

3) OLA who will eventually take over oromia if he truly negotiates with them, due to their popularity in Oromia. OLA's interests are simple: either true autonomy for oromia, or independence. this includes Oromia having its own army (I support that too and can easily argue for why it's the best thing for us). we have our fair share of extremists, true, but the average oromo is decent, God fearing, who will not oppress others, nor will we tolerate being oppressed by others.

4) Amara extremists who believe Ethiopia and Menelik's palace belongs to them exclusively- to them Amara's are true Ethiopians, and the oromos and others are mere subjects. They are mad at their loss of power to a ''galla,'' not because abiy is serving the west or anything else, because if they get power, they'd loyally serve the west too, for the sake of their own elitist, groups power and money.
this is a small group of loud mouths, who do not in anyway represent the average decent Amara either.


meanwhile, peace loving Ethiopians of all ethnic groups, who just want peace and security, suffer, because their countries initial establishment, was to serve others and not their own people, and because of that, our people suffer. regardless of if they're oromo, amara, tigrayan, etc.

Nevermind about their ቤላ በለው "3000 years history", they simply cannot live without some alms handout from their Ferenji masters! That is sad, but what is sadder is that the country has plenty of resources without depending on any other country!

So when Amharas take their self determination level to the same level as Tigrayans and Oromos it's called (Amhara extremism?) yeah right it's our own Abysinnia highland state we have the right to be ourselves in our own state we have nothing to do with Afar Somali and the rest of the country so stop lying saying we want to rule Ethiopia over 80 other ethnics we prefer a peaceful Ethiopia and we want to be Amhara in Amhara but you keep lying about us so this is the problem with oromo extremists because you folk think only a oromo can rule Ethiopia that is why you guys are supporting Abiy Ahmed simply because of ethnic supremacy you won't allow anyone else to rule Ethiopia we know it... what ever OLF does Amhara must follow because we do not believe Abiy or his army cares about Ethiopia or protecting Ethiopians at all. Amhara Liyu should avoid hostile forces go to the Chaka and terara and wait and wait until amhara is EQUAL to Oromo just as you have Oneg we can have Fano just as you do not follow the law right then so do we!
