Getachew Reda, if he survives, can have a successful career as a singer. His political life has been an unmitigated disaster. He saw the demise of million Agame; He signed the humiliating surrender deal; He is now Abiy's mislene in Chigray, Abiy, the man he denigrated scornfully when he said "Erdogan will not save him." That sting must surely hurt specially for an Agame with delicate psyche. Earlier in his political career, he lost his girl-friend to, of all people, Debretsion. She probably went for the title. I wonder now that DebritS is out and Getcho on the driver's seat, she is regretting her decision to dump Getcho? But more than that, Getachew Reda is now fodder for the tik-tokers who are having fun with his bombastic utterances.
