I seen too many forum members debating and try to convince themselves that their language was the first to be come after geez.

1st the Ethiopians can’t say that because if one invents something they invent what they use. Not what they can’t pronounce and use.
Amharic alphabets are verbatim copied from Eritrean tigrigna (if you see their alphabet list they are exactly as Eritrean tigrigna), even though there are 5 or so Eritrean alphabets which the Amharic or Ethiopians can’t pronounce and completely they don’t use, while the the Eritreans use all those alphabets which are in Amharic and tigrigna lists.
So, that is the fact and logic that Eritrean language came first and then copied by the agames and Ethiopians and with no shame they still have those alphabets in their list. I mean, why not even delete them and then debate your crap?
2nd it is laughable to say that the tegarus tigrigna even is a language for it is a mixture of Eritrean tigrigna with lots of twists, Amharic, Agew and god knows what else.
Logic dictates that the Americans don’t know what injera is and thus have no word for it.
Then how on earth does one invent something which they have no clue what it is or how to even pronounce it or use it?
Eritrean tigrigna is also the richest language in the world.
For example in Amharic Uncles and aunties from both side of the parents have the same pronoun like in English. In Eritrean tigrigna they are specific to which side of your parents they came from.
Then you got the plural of women, men or a mix of men and women identifiers. In Amharic you say ENESU to all the males, females, or mixed. In Eritrean tigrigna again it is pin point.
When an Amharic speakers says that my uncle or auntie came to visit us today, how the fu’ck do you know which uncle or auntie that is for you call both sides the same.
I mean why the fu’ck don’t you call your brothers and sister or parents with the same pronoun then?
Man, all of you who are debating with the creation or richness of the languages, needs to freaking stop it.
I speak 7 languages out of which 5 of them with their written form.
And believe me the is no language which is as rich as Eritrean tigrigna. Russian language comes second.
Stick to the facts and logic and stop your freaking none sense debate.

You just sound as if you were an authority in the field. To prove your claim, cite at least a few scientific publications in the linguistics of East Africa. To be honest, the situation in Eritrea is not any different from Ethiopia , until it was occupied by Italy for certain decades. Since I do not speak Tigrigna I can not validate its effect on the indigenous languages. In some other countries, due to colonial langue's native languages some how were slightly morphed or added new dictionaries. As far as Amharic language is concerned, no body buys your argument. Amharic is a very advanced language and is the oldest, Ethiopic/Amharic alphabets are in fact imitated by Tigringa languages to adapt to some of high pitch words. For instance, Tigrigna adapted Amharic alphabet ቀ and morphed it as in መቐለ, etc.

The worst mistakes of zealot OLF is their failure to adapt Amharic/Ethiopic/ alphabet in their writing like the Tigres morphed Amharic alphabets to adapt the picth of words in Tigrina. Using Amharic Alphabet could have save lots of line or length of texts in Oromigna. Besides, it could have attract many other non-Oromo Ethiopians to read it. No body is now taking interest to read Oromingna in Latin looking XXXOXOXOXXXX

As far as the colonization thing, it didn’t affect our alphabets. Our alphabets were there before Amharic. We might use some Italian, Arabic words but they are weaker than Eritrean tigrigna and have no added value.
We are taking about the purity of the languages, the usage or avoidance of use of certain letters while still believe is yours.
Come on guy, be reasonable and admit it.

Where is the evidence?! Show us. In fact, there is no such thing written in Geez about Tigrigna, but Geez wrote about Amharic which is አም ሃራ (ነጻ ህዝብ) and Hebrew had this name it too. Where is the name Tigre in some of these languages. Tigrigna is a late comer and it is inelastic that is why it did not get large numberof speakers.
