Somalia never had a script. This must be a new invention from some kind of recent school project. Creating one now is something worthy to encourage, but to lie for something never existed in the past, neither recorded in historic time is crime - pure manifestation of inferiority complex for not being proud of once history. The next higher level lie will be a Somalian Shakespearin fiction in the 7th century written in this recent shorthand symbol.

Somalia did have a script the one posted in this topic is called the osmania script it a few centuries old. Though no one uses it today but it did exist and it was a Somali owned script the same with the kaddarre script which is another script also there was the borama script Somalis had several different distinct script borama script was one in the north osmania script in the north east and kadarrr script in the far south

They created that script at some point in the 90s but they eventually went back to Arabic.

As an Eritrean i got a lot of love 2 my african brothers z Somalis, But this alphabet looks like Armenian & My Eritrea's Tigrinya & Amharic a combination of all of these languages. If you believe that it's new then go right ahead. Weriya fianta.

If someone says Somalis have invented shoes or even a toothbrush, Amhara would be the first person to contradict, Amharas want to be superior to other Africans without any contribution to humanity.

Whatβs there to be jealous of? While Geez script has been there for thousands of years, Somali script was invented a century ago and it got abandoned less than half a century later. Itβs like comparing a roundworm with an elephant.
Ethiopia has been manufacturing leather shoes for years (like Darmar & Anbesa shoes) and great brands like SoleRebels & Vivo are hitting the world market. Itβs good to check what your competitors are doing but what has that anything to do with jealousy? Itβs something that your brain imagines.
Both Somalia & Ethiopia have been using anti-microbial toothbrush stick βmiswakβ for hundreds of years while Europeans were wiping their teeth with linen and the average person suffered from blackened and rotting teeth. Go to Wello or Gondar and see how beautiful their teeth look to this day and yet they donβt use modern toothpaste or brush.

First of all, you are not from Somalia. Second, there is nothing to be jealous of about this. If Somalia had any script recorded in history, I would be happy for Africa could cite at least another country in addition to Ethiopia for having own alphabet. There are several countries in Asia, the Middle East, Europe that have their own. Africa the largest continent have only one country recorded in history.
Selam already provided you perfect explanation on this - I am thankful for that. You posted a fraudulent script and which is a junk, not a historical icon. That is really an insult to Somalia.
