What is big deal now since they are using Somali language even now as we speak, Arabic being second language due to perhaps geographical proximity and trade.

What’s there to be jealous of? While Geez script has been there for thousands of years, Somali script was invented a century ago and it got abandoned less than half a century later. It’s like comparing a roundworm with an elephant.

Ethiopia has been manufacturing leather shoes for years (like Darmar & Anbesa shoes) and great brands like SoleRebels & Vivo are hitting the world market. It’s good to check what your competitors are doing but what has that anything to do with jealousy? It’s something that your brain imagines.

Both Somalia & Ethiopia have been using anti-microbial toothbrush stick “miswak” for hundreds of years while Europeans were wiping their teeth with linen and the average person suffered from blackened and rotting teeth. Go to Wello or Gondar and see how beautiful their teeth look to this day and yet they don’t use modern toothpaste or brush.

First of all, you are not from Somalia. Second, there is nothing to be jealous of about this. If Somalia had any script recorded in history, I would be happy for Africa could cite at least another country in addition to Ethiopia for having own alphabet. There are several countries in Asia, the Middle East, Europe that have their own. Africa the largest continent have only one country recorded in history.

Selam already provided you perfect explanation on this - I am thankful for that. You posted a fraudulent script and which is a junk, not a historical icon. That is really an insult to Somalia.
