An exchange rate debacle to a tune of hikes nearing 250% is a clear indicator that a currency parting with Amhara kilil be part and parcel of the going discussion. Kilils can no longer subsidise a currency that serves amhara kilil that is off tune with the rest of the kilils

Gearhead (ግራ እራስ) is barking in the wrong tree, out of hate and also excessive insecurity. The source if inflation for the OLF-PP run economy is corruption, embezzlement, weak economic order. The robbing of banks by OLF and the diversion of resources to personal pockets by OLF, the fraudulent print of paper money by OLF-PP, the destruction of production facilities in the so-called "Oromia" and the expulsion of investors, or discouraging of investors due to OLF Keerrooo kegna, etc. is the reason. How do ordinary citizens think or behave when Adanceh Abebebe said she bought city busses using money from the black market?

Simply you are diehard TPLF salivating on Amhara ancestral land of Humera and Raya does not mean your logic can fly. No, Amhara is the cause. First, TPLF was decayed and was on in its moribund status. Then it got deposed and buried. Second, Tigray is economically insignificant in generating national revenue, it is naturally a region that takes resources or subsidies from other regions. Thus, there is little or no effect for Tigray province to change the balance of trade or to create relevant economic imbalance. The other worthy point is, Amhara is the major source of tax revenue of the country; followed by Gurage. The lion share of the national revenue of the country comes from Amhara although it receives unfair budget from the government. While Amhara carries of many economic dependent regions and even more than 90% of the war fought by Amhara people (Fano) it is a false cry to blame Amhara. Like it or not, TPLF should accept the new normal.
