The Amhara exterimists have been obsessed to realize thier dream of resurrecting the old Ethiopia that was buried 50 years ago and they have been rejecting any positive progress in Ethiopia over the last three decades including the construction of GERD on the Abay river. During the war with Tigray, they supported and participated in the war with a hidden goal that once the Tigrayans are destroyed , they can easily defeat the Oromos with the support Eritrea . However, Isaias also does not want Amharas to dominate Ethiopia as they may be tempted to incorporate Eritrea by force once again. Over the years the Amhara extremists have established special relationship with Isaias in which they accept him as their master and help him to control & exploit Ethiopia by establishing business and security networks in Amhara state and through out Ethiopia in exchange to get military support, protection and safe haven from him.
Unfortunately the self defense resistance of Tigray has foiled their plan by fracturing the allied axis of evil and we see them now confused, unorganized but determined to recapture Arat Killo by hook or crook with an immediate effect. For this purpose they are irresponsibly instigating, in alliance with Isaias and his foot soldiers, young Ethiopians to revolt and confront armed security personnel of the government. That is why we have frequent turmoils in Addis Ababa and in the Amhara state and these type of instabilities are expected to intensity until the alliance of Oromia and Tigray is further consolidated with the incorporation of OLA to the alliance and becomes the heavy weight and formidable winning force.
The Amhara extremists have to live with the fact that the Oromo -Tigray alliance will be the core central leader
and will keep Ethiopia united, strong and going at least for the next two to three decades and focus in building and transforming the Amhara state until they prepare themselves as outlined in the following link.

Wishful agame zana,
Oromos have nothing to gain by aligning on the side of Tigray against the mighty amharas. Tigray's population is very small. Tigray is defeated. Tigray is not endowed with rich resources. Renegade Tigrayans are viewed as enemies of Ethiopia by the rest of the population in Ethiopia. Oromos have to reconciles with the amharas and vice versa. They have to work together for the Ethiopian state to survive. There is no way, the amharas would be sidelined. Having said that though, they need reasonable and smart leadership. A reasonable and smart leadership that can take and give in reasonable manner. State building in the 21st century is very different from the 20th century of darkest African politics. Eritrea is a forgone conclusion. Eritrea needs a smarter leadership. That is a well known fact to the outside world. Eritrea needs to stay away from primitive and dangerous Ethiopian tribal politics. Tigrayans are in deep sh_yyyt. The welqait controversy is a dangerous one. No solution at the present time. Abbiy will try to amend the constitution. The problem with that is, no matter how he tries to solve that, he will have a loser in that equation. He will not have a choice but to give a regional autonomy to the welqait people. Referendum will not work at all. It will be followed by another controversy if that is the case.

You know endertans are more related to you than not yours truely. Endertans are amharas originally. They say old body Yukuno migrated some nine hundred years ago to Wollo and established the wonderful Amhara history that we admire today.

Culturally Endertans have Bete Amhara culture (Wollo, Raya). Especially those in Wejerat district and south of wejerat district. The core of Enderta around mekele are Tigrinya people they do not have our culture they have tigrinya Eritrean culture. Tigrinya spread southwards due to famine which cause tigrinya migration into Maychew and Alamata

You easily forget that Tigray is the soul and spirit of Ethiopia and as Abiy rightly put it the engine of Ethiopia . You cannot measure the impact of Tigray by population size. If you
need to build a multi story building Tigray could be considered as the reinforcement bar and the others as the concrete which both of them are required to build the house. I know you do not wish for the Ormo-Tigray alliance to happen as you are afraid that your dreams to manipulate & exploit Ethiopia would be under check !

In fact Axumezena is talking sense here. All what he needs to do is minimize anti Eritrean rhetoric as well as Eritreans also minimizing anti Tigryan rhetoric so that we may come out of all these petty revenge and counter revenge sick cycles, instead concentrate to improve trust, build peace and cooperation, implement development, wealth and happiness for individuals, communities, regions,Horn and Mamma Africa as a whole. That is what our children and grand children down the line need and deserve. Not endless revenges, wars, carnage and deaths.

Tigray is sandwiched between a rock and hard place, basically Tigray is a girl who is on DP position,

In regard to forge a cooperation between Oromo and Tigray, what has Tigray to offer to Oromo to offset or neutralize amhara? The entire Tigray is not even worth 3000 US dollars and what has Oromo to gain by associating themselves with Tigray?
Second, Ethiopia means amhara and Amhara means Ethiopia. As we say in Tigrigna, SebaAyen Fetekin, CheHmen TselEekin. you love the man but you hate his beard when you have sex. You can't have it both ways. The Ethiopian empire is the creation of Amhara and it is only Amhara and to some degree the Gurage who feel and experience the sense of "Ethiopioawient".
