በመሰረቱ ለኢትዮጵያ ኩራት የሚጠቀሱ ተማሪዎች ሕይወት ከአንድ የአረብ ሼክ ገንዘብ ስጦታ ጋር አያይዞ የዜና ማዕከል ቢን ዛይድ መሆኑ አቢይ አህመድ ምን ያህል ፎከስ አልባና አማካሪ አልባ መሆኑ ብቻ አይሆን በኢትዮያዊያን ላይ ተስፋ መቈለጡን እና በከፍተኛ ቁጣና አንገር ላይ የመሆኑ ማሳያ ነው።

ስለ ፊዚክስና ሜታፊዚክስ ያቀረበው እና ስለ ሌፍና ራይት ብሬይን ይሰጠው ትንተና ያረጀና የድሮ ቲኦሪ ነው ። አስፈላጊም አልነበረም ! በአንድ ቃል ግቡን ያልመታ የኒውስ ሳይክል መለጫ ታክቲክ ነበር ። ታስቦበት የተደረገ ቢሆንም ቅንጣ ያልክ ያገርም ሆነ ያለም ዜና ሳይሆን አልፏል ።

በአንድ ቃል አቢይ እጅግ ጥልቅ በሆነ ደረጃ የተጎዳ፣ የቆሰለ ሰው ነው ! ፊቱ ይመሰክራል! ለዚህ ሁሉ ተጠያቂውና ጥፋተኛው እራሱ ነው። ዛሬም ስልጣን ይህ ያክል እስከ ወደደ ድረስ እጣው ይህው ነው !

For anyone who is principled, Abiye Ahmed was as clear as as a spring water on his intentions and goals.

Early on, with all his blusters of loving Ethiopia, in the open without hiding did this following the foot steps of the Weyannies divisive politics:

-changed the rules and appointed a non residence hostile Oromo as the Mayor of Addis (2018). That is a non starter for a so called progressive Democrat as the people called him then.

-he said without hesitation and with full confidence, the Weyannie written ethnic constitution and the system of ethnic federalism is non negotiable.

For anyone who loves Ethiopia and cares for the well-being and prosperity of any society that should be it.

Democracy and republic can only built on individual freedom. Abiye is the opposite, a believer of group right.

Until he is gone and ethnic federalism is removed, armed conflict aka a real-estate war will continue.
The KEGNA conflict spearheaded by OLF & TPLF is a real-estate war. Change the constitution and THE law that allows individual ownership of land by citizens anywhere in Ethiopia. Disallow group or ethnic ownership of land or territory. Yes federalize by a region for administrative purposes.
Until then Ethiopia will not stabilize.

Millions of people fell in love with Abiy a few years ago and marched in public squares across the world, approving his ascendancy over TPLF thugs. I was one of them although I didn’t see the need to go to DC to attend his speech.

He has sadly failed to deliver his promises since then and therefore he has descended into a pattern of damage control resuscitation, at times attacking the very people that are seeking justice. He has in a way shot himself in the foot repeatedly & it’s unlikely he will ever recover, albeit I reluctantly want otherwise for the sake of the nation. That’s because his basic political circuitry is just a futile attempt to reincarnate an already burned-out system. It didn’t work then & it’s not going to work now. But it doesn’t seem he gets it.

His speech on education is a handsome & brilliant rhetoric with a positive tone & devoid of his usual suggestive phrases & blatant lies. It reminds me of his freshman orations that many fell in love with. No question that a mere speech or sporadic flare-ups wouldn’t fix anything unless the basics of his administration system is fundamentally turned upside down. Otherwise, it’s like putting a band-aid on a corpse.
