Raya is just a cultural-geographical term of the old Angot province not a ethnic term as such to say it is only Amhara presents peanut sized brain anaylsis of Raya is like denying evidence a human hand has 5 fingers!

Presento can you tell me why people in Maychew Alaje Mehoni and Wejerat affiliate themselves as Rayans? Who told them to affiliate as Rayan?

It makes sense to say Raya-Amhara or Angot-Amhara does not go further north then Maymado this is what Amhara Nationalists believe in as such we do not claim Maychew-Mehoni Azebo or Wejerat as our people do not live their.. The TPLF wrongly occupied the districts south of Betel\Maymado which speak Amharic and some agew Hemregna and have their own ethnic identity to be shunned
