Obviously the Orthodox Church is a red line. I would have preferred the massacre of innocent Gamos and Amharas to be the red line.

The dictator seems to realize the huge mistake he made by trying to cross the red line. He may change strategies and try to strike within. That ploy will backfire as followers are determined and faithful to protect the institution.
Who would in their right mind thought the EOTC is a formidable institution that can fight injustice with patience.
