To see the Agames celebrate the abject death of TPLF is one of their strangest oddities. This is taking denial to levels never seen in history. But I doubt if anyone is surprised. They have stopped to do that. We have seen them slaughter sleeping soldiers who had protected them for decades. We have seen them, over a period of 2 years, sacrifice 20% of their people for a war whose cause none of them can articulate. We have heard, ad nauseum, their idiotic boasts. We have heard them declare that war is a sport for them. We have heard their boastful songs where they clearly outline their wishes and plans. We have heard their incredible lies. We have seen their Diaspora behave in bizarre ways to draw attention to their criminal cause. So nothing they do can surprise us anymore, I mean, nothing abnormal. The day I will be surprised is the day I see Agames act rationally.

It should be recalled that, back in 1982 when the Derg regime withdrew its forces from Tigray and deployed them to Eritrea during its futile ቀይ ኮከብ ዘመቻ, the agame celebrated the withdrawal as "victory" and proceeded with cutting off all supply routes to Ethiopia in preparation for declaring their Tigray's "independence." The self-imposed siege that followed resulted in an epic famine in Tigray that claimed the lives of over one million agame by starvation. Déjà vu.

Actually, their irrationality has been their forte. For we've kept treating them as rational beings who can submit and be amenable to reason and reality......

That flaw, compounded with the herd-mentality, and with the absence of any reasonable, measured and restrained voices who can see things beyond the wishful thoughts and infantile tantrum, is the one that has immersed them in the the situation they're in right now.

If we expect them to draw the right lesson from this magnitude of debacle, then we're the ones who have become irrational!
