What are the indications that Ethiopia is becoming a multi-cultural state?

We can all bring in our own personal opinions and other sources of indicators to prove that the journey has began long time ago and there is no going back.

I have already brought up the case of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tawahido Church (EOTC), which adopted Afan Oromo as an additional and official language of church liturgy and other kinds of church businesses, including literature, in addition to Amharic.

I have also indicated the case of Ethiopian artists who are increasingly becoming more and more multilingual and thereby also become more successful in their career.

Here I add another case of Youtube channels, one a multi-lingual and the other a unilingual and see how the former is commanding more than a million subscribers, while the latter is still lingering around the half-million mark of number of subscribers.

Abel Berhanu is a single individual hosting a Youtube channel, who has got over 1.4 Million subscribers currently, which is not so common in the country's mushrooming Youtube landscape. He also broadcasts at times in Afan Oromo, I think to have heard him.

In comparison a channel called Feta Daily, which is also not so young in the business, is still lingering around the half-million mark of number of subscribers. This channel is not only a unilingual but also mostly of a one-sided or biased news composition.

See it for yourself below and judge.
