Who are you kidding other than yourself
You are parroting there is democracy in Ethiopia. That is what it sounds. You are a laughing stock. As if there were a democratic system and political institutions, you attempted to justify the unjustifiable. The whole sham tactics reveals Abiy Ahmed just like his processor Meles Zenawi is applying a distorted thug structure so as to abuse the country. I think the Traditional እቁብ association elects its chair in a much more meaningful structural function, transparency, representation and acceptability than the TPLF/OLF own ugly mafia style crime syndicate. You share the feast from the mafia institution does not mean it is normal for others, it is bizarre and abnormal.

Selam,
What kind of logic allows Israel to sit at AU conferences? What is Israel observing? when is colonialism going to end in Africa?

Is it customary for other countries outside of Africa to be observers in African Union's meeting? Does any Arab country , European or Asian country have an observer seat? So, if Israel was granted such a status in AU before, then it is not acceptable now especially if an Arab country is allowed to have a seat. Will this affect Ethiopia? because Ethiopia has a historical tie with Israel. I hope the child PM did favor one over the other in the membership meeting. The other thing is, do other continental Unions allow African countries to have such as status?

I don’t disagree. Ethiopia has a historical tie with the biblical land called Israel but it doesn’t mean we should allow the terror regime of Netanyahu to interfere in our internal affairs. Having said that, I wonder what the infantile Abiy’s role is in booting out the Israeli diplomat from the session in AA.

You are just making false noise to confuse innocents. I will say it again, there is NO democratic system and political institutions. In other words, there is a distorted governance structure so that a thug will falsely claim he is PM for life. What you repeatedly proved is you are a diehard OLF zealots who is behind frequent massacre and ethnic cleansing.

If I may chime in:
- No question that PP is elected by the power of the ballot. However, if an election takes place today, they will lose at least 60% of their previous voters. If Ethiopians from all walk of life are called out today to protest against PP, the turnout would freeze the country & send tremor through Oromoma’s spine. That shows how far Abiy descended from an inspirational leader to an autocratic thug.
- OLF-Shene has been massacring innocent people while Abiy & Shemelis are burying their heads in the sand. The duo are busy uprooting and incarcerating those who don’t agree with their terror squads. Therefore, PP & OLF are one and the same and supporting PP means supporting the Shene-OLF thugs.

This perception is is not correct for me. This wrong perception gives false legitimacy that has been causing sufferings for the last 31 years. No, Abiy Ahmed is not an elected leader as was Meles Zenawi or Hailemariam Desalegn. None of them elected by the Ethiopian people. They just claimed they won a vote from a small community. For Abiy Ahmed elected by about 0% of the Ethiopian population to claim he is their PM is just a joke, as it was Meles. That is the joke we all has to ask him to stop.

Well, provide the proof that Abiy lost the election and somebody else won. My recollection is that people woke up before dawn & lined up for hours to vote for him. If I were in their place, I would have also voted for him because he was the better candidate at that time. That’s fact. Fast forward three years, he proved himself to be the worst leader of all all time.

Yes, the worst leader of all time, because he is someone who can achieve what the rest of the leaders have never achieved.
That is what makes him the "worst leader", a milestone achiever!

Acts of these are the hallmarks of Abiy Ahmed's Orommuma regime in the last 4 years.

I am afraid you understood me. I don't mean the fewer headcount of the Beshasha people merely, I mean the governance structure is not valid in Ethiopia to conduct election. Or the TPLF/OLF political system owns an Inapplicable governance system, it was just created to keep thugs in power for life by pretending they have legitimacy. Abiy Ahmed and his thug follower can pretend all day long or even year round, however, the fact is he is not a legitimate leader. I am not talking of whether the election was rigged or not, but the governance structure (its illegal ethnic ክልል and illegal constitution ) is invalid at all. It is not worth to even begin with talking about election. In a functional democracy, where meaningful governance structure prevails, the government elected by the people works for the people. If that President fails or is a threat to national security/stability, the structure has the mechanism or the apparatus to remove him from power, because that leader is not only incompetent to lead but is national threat. According dictatorial , unelected or self-elected ones the national public is accountable to them, but not themselves.

illegal ethnic ክልል and illegal constitution
That’s a whole different discussion but the fact that people voted for Abiy knowing that he emerged out of TPLF’s womb is in a way an endorsement of the current constitution & its ethnic federal structure. The only solution for altering the status quo is to vote PP out and replace Abiy with someone else who could reverse Woyane’s evil system. I haven’t measured the temperature of the voters on the ground but as it stands PP will be booted out by any of the unionists in all regions except Oromiya where his only last hopes remain hanging provided Jawar doesn’t behave more cruel than him & snatch all chances out of Abiy’s grip.

- OLF-Shene has been massacring innocent people while Abiy-Shemel are burying their heads in the sand. The duo are busy uprooting and incarcerating those who don’t agree with terror squads. Therefore, PP & OLF are one and the same and supporting PP means supporting the Shene-OLF thugs.

It is called coercion, not election. I am not so naïve to believe the faulty governance structure of TPLF/OLF, meant to defraud and reap fake legitimacy, can be changed by voting. The rule of the game and the field is designed for TPLF/OLF or their kind. We have to think outside of the box.

illegal ethnic ክልል and illegal constitution
That’s a whole different discussion but the fact that people voted for Abiy knowing that he emerged out of TPLF’s womb is in a way an endorsement of the current constitution & its ethnic federal structure. The only solution for altering the status quo is to vote PP out and replace Abiy with someone else who could reverse Woyane’s evil system. I haven’t measured the temperature of the voters on the ground but as it stands PP will be booted out by any of the unionists in all regions except Oromiya where his last hopes remain hanging provided Jawar doesn’t behave more cruel than him & snatch all chances out of Abiy’s grip.

This perception is is incorrect for me. This wrong perception gives a false legitimacy that has been causing sufferings for the last 31 years. No, Abiy Ahmed is not an elected leader as was Meles Zenawi or Hailemariam Desalegn. None of them was elected by the Ethiopian people. They just claimed they won a vote from a small community. For Abiy Ahmed elected by about 0% of the Ethiopian population to claim he is their PM is just a joke, as was for Meles. That is the kind of joke we all have to ask him to stop.

Organize, organize & organize… there is nothing else outside the box.I wouldn’t advocate for violence & armed struggle while seating behind a monitor. That’s cowardly to say the least.

I could not agree more (Organize, organize & organize) but do not fall for sweet words (confuse and convince) or crumbs of bread, square your shoulders to stand up against tribal bullies. If a bully in Addis Ababa bulldoze your house in the middle of the night, while in your deep sleep ( to bury while alive), you do not turn your other chin to slap you, should think outside of the box. Anyone volunteered to be bulldozed in his own house can do so, but has to be self-defense. Organize to respond to zealot Orommuma bullies and make them pay for their cruelty.

That’s a hypothetical question because my house hasn’t been bulldozed and probably neither yours. If those people you expect to defend themselves failed to do so, there is nothing you could do about it. Likewise, anything initiated from outside is unsustainable. I say this purely from a philosophical perspective, devoid of sentimental views.
Nothing irritates me more than that.
