Similar to Isaias his two main focus areas ( in addition to his views on education) are TPLF & USA
- TPLF is responsible for the war ( same as Isaias)
- TPLF caused hundreds of thousands of deaths
- The war was caused by the Ethic policy of TPLF that empowered it to have special forces
- The USA has put uncalled/ unjustified pressure on Ethiopia ( similar view to Isaias)
- He also blindly claimed Isaias has nothing that he needs from USA( that is shameful for an economics expert to defend Isaias's isolationist economic policy that has caused hundreds of thousands of Eriterian young generation to flee the country running from poverty.
Birhanu Nega as a foot soldiers of Isaias has been one of the proponents of elimination of TPLF by any means over the last four years and he has been in support of the genocidal war until the Peace Agreement was signed under the heavy intervention of the USA and other powers and he shares responsibility for supporting and agitating the genocidal war against Tigray .With regard to the ethinic based politics it is wrong to blame only TPLF as various political organizations including OLF and other separatist movements that were supported by his boss Isaias were pro-ethinic based political system in Ethiopia.
