Excellent! This is the best example of rationality overcoming emotionalism and saving Ethiopia for all Ethiopians. Different types of power hungry divisive extremist elements seems to have infiltrated the the church hierarchy, overtaking church activities and trying to use it for destroying Ethiopia once and for all.

A few toxic and poisonous power mongering serpent elements are still there trying to cause divisions, havoc and take back Ethiopia to the medieval age. All the best for the clergies who met the good hearted PM and negotiated settlements.

Hopefully the toxic elements using eloquent deceptive flowery toxic words may not be able to twist the clergies hands. Negotiators needs to be principled and iron firm to implement if personal and public security needs to be upheld and respected without any unnecessary bloodshed.

Abiy is a gifted leader, way ahead of any competition, including these short-sighted church leaders. They thought they won a victory, but here winning is losing. They could have compromised and acknowledged the 25 appointees. Abiy, like school teacher, was stern with the church leaders.

I think the short statement by the PM relates to the recent incident in the church, if Debretisyon was also there, then it only confirms that the PM is not handling it on his own but also consults with every other stakehold of the enterprise.
