Hoping the chaos brought into the church settled, Abiy Ahmed could get some breathing room. If he stopped his hiccup against the Ethiopian Orthodox church and stopped listening to his retarded OLF advisors surrounded him and show no relapsing sign, it is good for EOTC. Speculating endlessly about what would or could happen, as opposed to focusing on what IS happening, is silly, to say the least.
Also, extremists exist in all nations, the Amara's being no different than their Oromo, tigrayan and other neighbors. We've seen what some of their elements did by massacring agaw, and gumuz babies and women, and lord knows what they did in Tigray and even in the disputed Welkait.
